Kiss Love and Taste with Lu Yi, Aaron Yan, and Amber Kuo

Kiss Love and Taste (亲·爱的味道), a modern drama about food! Lu Yi plays a famous chef who lost his ability to taste after an accident and Amber Kuo enters his life with the intention of learning about his family traditional recipe. Third wheeler in Aaron Yan comes along hoping to help our MALE lead gain back his sense of taste with his knowledge in psychology. Did I read that wrong? LOL. But aww, bromance! The best line is this, while our chef is a cold person, he can’t help but cracks a smile naturally at the supposed psychologist’s youthful energy. HAHAHA. Yea, I would too, after seeing his sweet, puppy face. Check out the press conference stills and the trailers!

First trailer for Wallace Chung’s The Road to Bid Farewell

The Road to Bid Farewell is filled with Flowers (一路繁花相送) is adapted from the novel of the same name written by Qing Shan Luo Ta, starring Wallace Chung, Maggie Jiang, Aaron Yan, Li Sheng, and Christopher Lee. I know the storyline is typical with youthful love that extends and lingers, reuniting the love birds ten years later, but I’m kinda speechless staring at the stills released so far. The bright colors and the oh-so-pretty cast members with respectable hair and nice clothes.

It’s sooooooooooo pretty… *_____* I could imagine all the click-and-save motion.

First stills of Wallace Chung’s The Road to Bid Farewell is filled with Flowers

Still without an official English name, I’ll continue to call the upcoming modern drama The Road to Bid Farewell is filled with Flowers (一路繁花相送, Yi Lu Fan Hua Xiang Song) written by Qing Shan Luo Ta. It stars Wallace Chung and Maggie Jiang in a love story gone wrong during their youth and given a second chance. Yep. That’s all drama characters do nowadays, long for the past, never moving on. How romantic! Lol. The stills look pretty so far, everyone is on point in hair and fashion. Surprise!

Maggie Jiang, Aaron Yan join Wallace Chung’s modern drama

As announced a few weeks ago in the batch news, the said new modern drama is adapted from the novel loosely translated to The Road to Bid Farewell is filled with Flowers (一路繁花相送) by Qing Shan Luo Ta. Wallace Chung was the first person to confirm. This guy is a busy bee. Today, the leading lady has been revealed to be Maggie Jiang, who is currently enjoying popularity for her role in To Be A Better Man. I personally haven’t watched it so no comments from moi. To round out the love triangle, Taiwanese actor Aaron Yan picks this as his last project before his short break from the showbiz to study abroad.

EDIT: The original novel has two couples in the end, or so I’ve heard. I’m thinking that they will play up the love triangle (how could they not let Aaron brood?) but he will get his own girl in the end.

Another Promise of Marriage at 30: Aaron Yan to Gui Gui

After Wallace Huo and Hu Ge’s 5-year promise sprouted a new romance in the former’s life, I’m not surprised Promises of Wedding Bells is playing out in more ways than one. As mentioned before, Gui Gui is a member of the variety show, Crime Scene (明星大侦探), and the team recently reunited her with former co-star Aaron Yan, dressing them up as a republican couple. These two are so touchy-touchy!! In the brief promo clip for the another show, Idol Online (偶像萬萬碎), Aaron advises Gui Gui to get married to a mature guy who is at least 30, and when she inquires about him, he suggests a promise to marry her if she’s still unmarried at age 30. To further fan the romantic seed, he wonders where she wants to get married? Greece? Nope. She wants to go to Finland to see the Northern Lights. You two. Short clips of both shows are included after the jump (or after my imaginary storyline of them in a typical romcom.)
