The continuation of Princess Agents called Rebirth is set to air with Li Yun Rui and Huang Yang Tian Tian

Rebirth (冰湖重生) is adapted from the novel written by Xiao Xiang Dong Er. If you remember, Princess Agents released in 2017 was also from the same novel but it only managed to butcher cover parts of the novel up to the lake where second male lead shot male lead and he fell into the frozen lake. From the looks of the trailers, Rebirth is gonna follow them after that event. It’s sweet they got Huang Yang Tian Tian playing the adult-ish role (she’s still only 18!) now because in the 2017 version, she played the teenage version.

Synopsis Per Viki: While a battle rages around them, Chu Qiao (Huangyang Tian Tian) and her friend Zhuge Yue (Li Yun Rui) fall into the icy waters of Ice Lake. While Chu Qiao is rescued by Prince Yan Xun (Zhang Kang Le), Zhuge Yue doesn’t make it, leaving her devastated. Driven by grief, Chu Qiao plans to avenge Zhuge Yue, plotting her next steps in Bian Tang. However, after Chu Qiao receives help from a mysterious man, she starts to wonder if Zhuge Yue is actually dead. Meanwhile, Yan Xun begins waging war among the four kingdoms, threatening to bring their world into chaos. Can Chu Qiao find Zhuge Yue, help Yan Xun see reason, and restore peace to their home? This is the sequel to 2017’s “Princess Agents.”
