iQIYI’s costume drama A Journey to Glow with Wang An Yu and Zhao Jin Mai begins filming

A Journey to Glow (一念江南) is an original script and is called a sister drama to A Journey to Love, meaning that they share the same fictional history with the land being divided into four kingdoms – Song, Su, Yue, and Tang. The story and characters are different. Booting ceremony is held today to kick off filming!

I already like this pairing, they look uber cute together! The story follows five youths who coincidentally arrive at the small town in Jiangnan to hunt for treasures from the previous fallen kingdom. Our female lead lives a double life – in the morning she’s a resourceful maiden and at night she’s a mischievous thief. Our male lead is a scholar who has fallen out of favor.
