Zhan Zhao Adventures (雨霖铃) is adapted from the novel written by MiniFish, a re-interpretation of the classic novel The Seven Heroes and Five Gallants. The story follows our heroine in the her fearless journey to escape an arranged marriage and meeting the classic hero in Zhan Zhao, who’s been on the run himself with incriminating evidence for a case.

Synopsis Per Viki: As the emperor’s fourth-ranked bodyguard, Zhan Zhao (Yang Yang) is highly skilled, with a strong sense of morality and willingness to help others. However, when he receives a tip from an old friend about an unsolved mystery, he sets off to investigate on his own. While he encounters opposition along the way, he meets Huo Ling Long (Zhang Ruo Nan), the runaway daughter of a prominent family, and Bai Yu Tang (Alen Fang), a fighter nicknamed “The Golden-Haired Rat,” who help him on his quest. Together, they investigate other cases that seem to relate to gang disputes – and grow ever closer to solving his original mystery.

Douban score is out! Keep in mind score can change over time, either up or down.
Deserves a much higher score than that, but I don’t trust Douban anyway cuz the score is easily manipulated…
I rather watch a drama and judge for myself 🙂
From what I’ve seen so far, should be at least 8+
