Youku’s Historical drama Sea Of No Return confirms main leads: Li Yun Rui and Liu Xie Ning

Sea Of No Return (归良辰) is adapted from the novel written by You Si Jie.

Our leads are prince and princess from different kingdoms. She’s the grand princess from Da Ye, while he’s the Prince of Nan Yuan. Their path crossed each other ten years ago in the forbidden city when he “unintentionally” saved her. He then vows to marry only her. Just when you think it’s all romantic and feelings, she learns that their marriage alliance is a meticulous part of his grand scheme to power. She begins building a wall around her heart and he has to break it down….at the same time as he crushes down the walls of cities he wants to conquer. Sounds like a yummy role!

Filming has started!

I have yet to watch LYR in action but I have fond memories of LXN from Story of Kunning Palace! Nice to see her in a lead role! She has one of the most beautiful set of lips. Lol
