Youku’s modern drama The Night Manager confirms whopping cast in Sean Lau, Eddie Peng, and Carman Lee

SEAN LAU???!

EDDIE PENG??!!

And the lovely Carman Lee?!

Youku, what, how, and what?!! Sean’s last drama was in the 90s!! And Eddie’s last drama was before Covid! Lololol.

It’s been confirmed that this is the Chinese adaptation of the 1993 espionage novel The Night Manager by John le Carré. There’s an ongoing British TV remake too led by Tom Hiddleston, and Season 2 just started airing a few days ago!

This marks the second collaboration between the two actors as they previously worked together in 2016’s Call of Heroes.

The Chinese remake is set for 12 episodes.
