Blossom is adapted from the novel Jiu Chong Zi/Deep Purple (九重紫) written by Zhi Zhi, who also wrote The Sword and The Brocade. This is another second chance type of novel.

Synopsis per Wetv: After losing her mother at a young age, Dou Zhao faces family turmoil and a harsh fate that leaves her disillusioned with love and kinship.
