Bobby Au Yeung reprises his role as Song Ci in Collected Cases of Injustice Rectified (Washing Away of Wrongs)

Oy! The nostalgia! Witness to a Prosecution is a TVB series released back in 2000 with two Seasons. The story is a re-imagination of Song Ci’s life, a physician and forensic medical scientist who wrote the book Collected Cases of Injustice Rectified, considered as the earliest documentation of forensic science; a handbook for coroners. It’s been 20 years and Bobby is now at the age of 60! He’s been a beloved actor in my family for his roles in TVB comedies for years and it’s nice to see him in a drama again. This is produced by China and filming began a few days ago.

Season 1 with Jessica Hsuan, Mariane Chan, and Frankie Lam. Song Ci in TVB version comes from a humble beginning, a child born in a coffin and later picks up his forensic skills from an experienced coroner.

Season 2 with Charmaine Sheh, Joyce Tang, and Stephen Au. This is the one I rewatched last year cause it has Charmaine and Stephen. Lol! Plus, I didn’t really dig the two-wives factor in Season 1 but I think the general consensus is Season 1 has better cases.

Booting Ceremony.

Wow! I remember watching Witness to a Prosecution when I was young. There were parts that I couldn’t watch because it was so scary. I didn’t like the season 1 as much with the 2 wives but maybe because I like Ah Sheh so I do prefer rewatching season 2.
With Bobby reprise his role, I’m looking forward to it
