I think the last modern drama I watched was…Li Ying’s Our Glamorous Time and even then I couldn’t finish. Lol. Xing Zhao Lin is steadily making modern dramas his playground; he has starred with most of the younger generation actresses. xD Lucky’s First Love started airing yesterday! Let’s see how Bai Lu make her arrogant boss fall in love!

Sweet, light and hilarious drama.
The leads fits their roles and have good chemistry. Supporting actors are fine too.
Bai Lu basically destroyed her badass image in her previous dramas with this cute, adorable, clumsy yet strong and smart Xing Yun. Her expressions are all over weibo as people are loving it
What’s a natural and gifted actress.
I can’t even find a sight of her previous character Xie Xiang in her.
She is quickly becoming one of my favorites. There are many actors who aren’t bad but they seem to be themselves “acting” different characters. Bai Lu, on the other hand, is still quite green and still have room for improvement, but she becomes each character that bring distinctive vibes each time. Put XX and XY character in a fan made MV they would be completely different.

Bai Lu is cute. I have not watched her in other dramas before but she comes across very natural and animated. The story is nothing special but an easy watch so far.

Honestly? My actual first impression is “what IS this show?!”. It’s so strange and quirky, I’m in a constant state of befuddlement, literally. But somehow it’s really funny and fast-paced (very brainless) all within like the first…20 min? It leaves me seriously confused but also surprisingly entertained.

It’s the kind of drama that you shouln’t be taken seriously.
A lot of ( not cheap, thankfully) laugh and sweetness.
But at the end of the story there is something they try to teach you in a relationship as well – for her to agree married him.
All in all, I’m surprisingly entertained and enjoyed the drama more than I expected.
