His Excellency’s First Love (or Moonshine Valentine now) is really good lol. Funny, interesting and not draggy atm. Victoria’s acting really improved in the drama

If Lost in 1949 is not good I think I’m going to cry. Not only is it Chen Kun but it’s also my favorite actress Wang Qian

Novaland is looking freaking bomb. SO. AMAZING. Not only is LHR a serious bias for me, but the styling looks fantastic, his character looks super cool, HE looks in character, and from the posters, the rest of the cast is great too.

I’m really hyped up for Novoland. I’m really hoping that it doesn’t fail towards the end like Tribes and Empire and that it actually finishes. Fingers and toes crossed

上海女子图鉴 is actually Women in Shanghai, which is the SISTER drama (as in, it’s by the same production company and takes place in the same universe) to Women in Beijing 北京女子图鉴, which was a webdrama starring Qi Wei that was released throughout April. The synopsis sounds somewhat similar (though different cities = different story—I hope Wang Zhen’er’s character can be very different from Qi Wei’s Chen Ke), but I see some of the cast from Burning Ice? And Li Xian?
Also, Lost in 1949 isn’t airing on May 11—they pushed it back to June recently.

Lol, thanks for noticing. Shanghai was on all the stills and yet my brain and fingers still typed down Beijing. xD
And yes, it has been postponed to 6/11. I did read it but didn’t correct the date.

Yay LHR.. Dude is very handsome… Aiya.. Totally ruin my bias list.. Lols.
#prayforEngsub for vic’s new drama and haoran’s. Hmm.. Tangyan’s also but those posters didnt interest me much.
Btw isnt tangyan also having another pending drama? She got many projects under her belt before and no rest, but last year and this year, not many from her.

Everyone go watch His Excellency’s 1st Love / Moonshine and Valentine! I initially wasn’t interested but saw a weibo vid of the two leads’ younger versions and it was so wholesome I just had to check out the drama.
It’s been quite enjoyable to watch so far (there’s the usual drama tropes but feels refreshing). I didn’t skip through any scenes and finished 4 episodes in one go. End of my drama drought lol.

Watching Moonshine & Valentine/His Excellency’s First Love right now. Excellent drama, very well paced and surprising very well done. There’s very little hype or promotion for this show before it started to broadcast. The show is basically gaining in popularity through its own merit. Excellent director and great cast overall and I love love the attention to detail in the drama, like in episode 2 when the blind male lead trace the numbers on the credit card when it was handed back!
