Oh wow. I clicked to watch the MV of Legend of Jade Sword & didn’t expect to be mesmerized by the CGI. And it did — and it piqued my interest in the drama. I will reread the previous posts about the drama to get the story. I’ve never been impressed by Hawick, but I like Wang Ou a lot (despite the scandalous rumors a while ago).

I wanted to see Vanness Wu in an upbeat drama. Love Can’t Wait seems to continue the misery and heartbreak of Autumn Concerto.

Can’t wait for Eternal Love 2! I wonder how they are gonna continue from the first one since the ending was in a modern world setting. The only thing I hope is that there isn’t some annoying third party like a girl out of nowhere because the whole point of the drama, for me, is the cute bickering and loving each other between the leads. I don’t need no third party to prove their love.
Will watch The Legend of the Jade Sword because of Wang Ou, not really a huge fan of Hawick..

Excited when seeing Vaness Wu’s name but after watching the trailer I don’t think I can handle the sadness of this drama.

It is loosely based on GDC. From on the synopsis submitted to the censors, this drama is like a GDC fanfic – taking most of the characters, changing some characterizations and relationships, removing a lot of supernatural stuff and using a few plot lines. Less complex villains. LWJ and WWX are childhood best buds, definitely no romance and bromance is iffy. No “rebirth”. 13 years becomes 16 years. Once everything is done and settled, they will go their separate ways again.

The main cast is pretty much all pretty young idols, actors and actresses. The production is quite focused on “looks.” Some novel fans unhappy about this dramatization have been won over, for the time being, by how everything looks.
