New Trailer:

Old Trailer Subbed by TransLEO_Group.

The synopsis from Wuxia World: In a land where no magic is present. A land where the strong make the rules and the weak have to obey. A land filled with alluring treasures and beauty, yet also filled with unforeseen danger. Three years ago, Xiao Yan, who had shown talents none had seen in decades, suddenly lost everything. His powers, his reputation, and his promise to his mother. What sorcery has caused him to lose all of his powers? And why has his fiancee suddenly shown up? Our male lead is described as a sly and unstable person. His power is lost because it was absorbed by a spirit in his ring (given by his mother). The spirit needed his power to wake up from a deep slumber. The spirit then becomes his master.

Directed by South Korean director, Kang Je Gyu (Salut d’Amour, Bad Guys Always Die), Fights Break Sphere has 45 episodes and filming is still in process.

We have quite few of rising young actress since last year and they’re all so cute and pretty!

    Guan Xiaotong (97)
    Shen Yue (98)
    Song Zuer (98)
    Li Landi (99)
    Li Kaixin (99)

My fave is Li Landi, I love her smiley face!! shes got such a kind looking face and also ‘first love’ type of face imo. Her lovely vibe reminds me of Michelle Chen from Youre the Apple of My Eye movie. If theres ever a drama remake of that movie, I think she’s gonna be perfect for it.

      @ Jay

Shen Yue is 21 years old (2/1997). I love her in “Love Is So Beautiful”.

My fave is shen yue. I think she has so much potential and gives off such fresh vibe that it definitely sets her apart from others.

lol Love that contradiction: wuxia, a land where no magic is present but then there it came a spirit that took away his power.
Sounds like an interesting plot though.

Only complaint is not a fan of jelly 🙁
Many people actually “hate” her a lot on weibo so if she pair as innocent girl who wu lei loves I am sure everyone will cry a river

I’m excited for this one! I was actually just looking up info for this the other day (because I read that previously it was going to star Xiao Cai Qi, but I think her role has been cut/switched with another person.) Not sure what she’s been doing lately, but I miss seeing her cute cherubic face on the small screen.

I do like Leo Wu, however, and the cast is new & fresh at least. Worth a watch.

Sort of random but I’m really glad the whole Korean ban is in effect. It’s allowed the Chinese industry to really take off over the past couple of years. We’ve gotten a lot of quality content and there are more opportunities for younger actors coming into the industry. It’s about time they stopped hiring foreign actors who can’t speak the language, makes it awkward to film for everyone involved. I hope the ban lasts longer honestly.

I was totally ok with Chae Rim acting in Chinese drama in the past although the dubbing for her sometimes sucks. Her and Lee Da Hae admitted plastic surgery but at least they looked way too natural in the early 2000’s. Today actresses are making themselves so obvious that they’d done plastic surgery, same sharp chin and huge eyes. I believe that’s the reason why only very very few Korean actors after 2010 were able to get attention internationally, unlike the previous groups. Jang Nara wasn’t too bad, although she totally lacks ancient beauty looks she managed to rock in the princess drama. Long ago when Han Jae Suk acted with Ruby Lin after his success in All About Eve with Chae Rim and famous Glass Slippers, his drama with Ruby did draw quite some attention although the drama stinks and made Ruby the very top most and biggest Mary Sue ever. No complaint about Kim Hee Sun although there is nothing stunning about her anymore and we’re used to seeing her often. I guess if the Korean actor is somebody good enough then it can be a good thing. For example I wouldn’t mind Rain, Li Min Ho, and Song Hye Kyo.

Totally agree. So many capable young C-actors missing out on parts so some mediocre K-pop idol who can’t act or speak the language could make a quick paycheck was ridiculous

Hey Kappy, the links the novel and manhua appear to be dead. Does the novel share the same name as the drama adaptation?
