Alrighty! We have one confirmation for one of the leading roles in the upcoming drama adaptation of Gu Long’s novel, Juedai Shuangjiao aka Handsome Siblings (绝代双骄). The mischievous sibling Xiao Yu Er is played by Chen Zhe Yuan, who is currently leading in Nicky Wu’s production, Legend of the Zu Mountain 2. Who has watched and could tell us more about this cute-looking new face?

Hu Yi Tian is rumored to be the other sibling, Hua Wu Que. Since Huace is one of the production companies, there’s good chance they will cast their own blood in the other leading role. Visual-wise, he fits the image of the gentle and polite sibling quite well. But in all honesty, I think it would be fun for him to break out of that role by playing Little Fish. Ha!

Filming is due to begin on 2/7 so hopefully, we will see the full cast ensemble then!

Directed by Zou Ji Cheng (The Patriot Yue Fei) and Liu Fang, and written by Jiu Nian (The Distant Distance, Lotus Lantern), Handsome Siblings plans to have 50 episodes.
