Awww. Dee Hsu or more widely known as Little S is gonna play our hero’s spunky sister! She’s Barbie Hsu (the original Shan Cai)’s younger sister in real life. You have to agree the sister is a well-loved character in the series. They have been filming and leaked photos are surfacing everywhere online. Here is just a small compilation and first look at our heroine played by Shen Yue (A Love So Beautiful). What I read so far is that they’re planning to make a movie version as well, where the cast of 2001 will meet 2018… To do what? Compare wrinkles?! Lol.

Hmm… I’m not the biggest fan of Shen Yue so I’m skipping this one. I never liked the story anyway.

WHAT is going on with his hair?? In the original manga Domyouji has curly hair which the Japanese and Korean versions both stuck to to varying degrees of success (MatsuJun’s hair in series 2 is perfection). In Taiwan Meteor Garden Jerry Yan’s hair was ugly but it was 2001 and pretty much everyone’s hair was tragic with the exception of Barbie’s always flawless mane.
Shen Yue looks good and how I imagine the character. She and Dylan seem a little awkward unfortunately from these pics but they are just a few snapshots so I won’t judge and hopefully they will have great chemistry onscreen or the romance won’t work.

I remembered Jerry’s hair was pushed back (by a bandana) in the 2001 drama. Maybe they’re going for that in Darren…except it’s not 2001 anymore 😅
I hope if they do make the movie I’ll see Barbie Hsu again.
Maybe they can bring their children and be like “hey we started a family since last time”
Or the 2001 F4 can be the uncles to the current 2018 F4 😁

Really looking forward to this because Shen Yue, and she is the classic manga makino with her short height, short hair, and big eyes. And she really impressed me in a love so beautiful. Hoping she gets more recognition through this drama.
