I am a plain jane when it comes to Fashion so I never watch these fashion shows. Lol. The first Victoria’s Secrets (VS) Fashion Show in China is held last night in Shanghai with seven Chinese Models strutting down the runaway in elaborate lingerie that no one would wear on a normal day. XD

Omg I feel so sorry for Ming Xi! I really love her a lot, one of my faves, and her personality is really so loveable! It’s really really a great pity that she fell on stage omg… I hope she doesn’t beat herself too much about it and it doesn’t affect her other VS opportunities.

On weibo she got tons of support fro C-netizens. I think all the Chinese VS models are fairly well liked in China but Ming Xi is definitely popular due to her easygoing friendly personality. As long as she has China’s support, VS isn’t going to do anything to her. Their desperation for Chinese money is palpable.

I immediately went on weibo after seeing Kappy’s post and quite a number of cnetizens were criticising her as well. Which some I do agree; she fell on stage and that is a grave mistake. Hopefully she learns from her mistake and get well really soon! 🙁

Models falling down is not a rare occurance on runway shows. The blame shouldn’t be placed the model, but on designers of sky-high stilettos which are painful and uncomfortable to walk in, especially on slippery surfaces.

I wouldn’t blame her for the mistake of falling, as it happens frequently on runways. The fault is with rediculously high heels and slippery floors.

Poor Ming Xi must have been so embarrassed but on the plus side she seems to have received the most coverage of any model that walked the show thanks to her fall.

It also helped that she handled it really well and in the photos you can see she’s still smiling when she falls. She even falls like a queen. I’ve also seen a lot of people compliment her
