Zhu Yi Long and Bai Yu wrap up filming for webdrama Guardian

Look at those adorable faces! *___* Imma watch you two, I will! I do need a good bromance story right now. Three months of filming comes to an end today for fantasy crime-solving webdrama Guardian (镇魂) with Zhu Yi Long and Bai Yu as leads; Yi Long jumps immediately into another project, lol, will write about it when I have more details.

No longer a boy-boy love story, it is brotherhood all the way, every single day. I wouldn’t want it any other way. =D

Interview:

A little background that I gleaned: Zhen Hun (镇魂) is a webdrama adapted from the supernatural novel written by Priest following our two male leads. Zhao Yun Lan (Bai Yu) is a leader of the Special Investigation Department, in charge of cases done by non-human beings. His family is rich and the department is created by his father. Lol. Arrogant and a little shameless about his talents, he also fights well. He is responsible and lives like the quote, “an eye for an eye”, so don’t mess with him. His real identity was a god at the same time as Nüwa but for certain reasons, was reincarnated to become a human being, without his powers. The other male lead is Chen Wei (Zhu Yi Long), a University Professor, known for his pretty looks and pink cheeks when teased by the other male lead. His real identity is one of the two Demon Lords. He has a sword which can slice and obliterate ghosts. As they solve crimes together, more of their history will be unraveled.

JUICY!

Directed by Zhou Yuan Zhou (Chusen, Sparrow) and with Priest on board as the script writer, Guardian has 40 episodes.

Zhu Yi Long is so beautiful. My gosh. Bai Yu is precious.
Priest is a solid novel writer and writes compelling mystery novels even though they are a bit long lol. Can’t wait for this 😀

Me too! CANNOT WAIT. The two male leads are so pretty, we don’t need a female lead in here. LOL.

Kappy, if you wrote “OTP” under your first pic, will we have more comments here?
    I jest.

I haven’t watched any of Zhu Yi Long’s dramas. So no comments from me. I don’t even recognize his face yet.

        Jia you!!

I watched 1 ep of Border Town Prodigal. I was lukewarm about that production. And Gu Long seemed obsessed with the concept of having many ladies surrounding a man. I hope ZYL will have a memorable role in a memorable production soon!
