It’s hard to focus on one drama per post when they churn out news endlessly throughout the day. Of the three dramas featured in here, I’m not sure which one I will watch. Nothing Gold Can Stay have weird coupling chemistry going on, The King’s Woman looks twisty and I don’t like mean lead guys even if he’s Zhang Bin Bin, but Dilreba looks stunning in all the stills, and Xuan Yuan Sword: Cloud of Han Dynasty…. I’m iffy about everyone’s okay acting. Lol.
Am I too hard to please? Or too jaded for dramaland?

Nope Kappy you are not harsh haha!! Everyone’s acting is definitely average or below. Alan’s acting is so meh. Saw him in Go Princess and he looks the same here except cooler and colder expressions. I laughed so hard at 0:40!

I think Xuan Yuan Sword is going to suck. The CP and XY video game series adaptations have been crap ever since CP3 (in other words, they are all awful except for CP). I think people have realised it now and no one is going to watch it, especially since the leads are really nobodies.

Out of the three I’d check out Sun Li & Chen Xiao’s drama. But yeah am worried about the chemistry.
I have given up hope for the Xuan Yuan Sword and CP sequels. My heart said yes last time and gosh it was disappointing.

I am actually really excited for Nothing Can Stay Gold, I might be the only one that thinks the main couple actually do have chemistry though.

Me too! I love anything with sun li… She’s so good. And Chen Xiao is so handsome… So disappointed with his Love and life and lie (Terrible doesn’t even described it) though he was the best thing in there for me.

Excited for The King’s Woman and Xuan Yuan Sword – both are my fave genres. Not very interested in republic-era dramas like Sun Li’s.
Oh wow, didn’t know The Negotiator is airing on the same date too. Can’t wait to see Tao in a drama.
