Lu Han and Guan Xiao Tong lead punches in Sweet Combat

Oh yay! Another sports drama. After dipping his toes in fantasy drama with Fighter of the Destiny, Lu Han returns shortly after in his first modern drama starring alongside Guan Xiao Tong to deliver out some righteous punches in Sweet Combat (甜蜜暴击). Lu Han plays a positive young man who grew up without his parents and shoulders the responsibility of raising his two younger siblings. To protect them from bullying, he learns how to fight and soon finds himself gathered around a like-minded group of youths. Awww, siblings love gets me right in *here*

This just seems like such a regression. From a xianxia drama to a school idol drama? He and Yang Yang are not choosing their roles well. They have pretty big followings. They can do better.

He has a young-looking face, which restricts the roles he can take. So far all his roles have been boyish characters. His team isn’t helping him either by taking on idol-ish roles like this.
GXT is also doing the same, but at least her age justifies her to act in a few more idol dramas.

What do you think?
