I was basically expecting nothing, but this trailer seems so fantastic! I’m ACTUALLY excited for this. Somehow this is one of the few times I actually find Baron exceedingly hot and cool. I’m excited.

Omg yesss. At first I thought Leo wouldn’t fit the role of Xiao Yan but after seeing the trailer, looks promising.
I’m reading the novel, manga, and watched the anime so I am totes hyped for this! However it seem they’ve switched things up in the drama adaptation by using Xiao Yan’s mother’s death as the main drive of the story while Xiao Yan’s mother wasn’t really talked about in the novel itself o_O Interesting.
As for Xiao Yi Xian, it’s more of a one-sided thing, Xiao Yan only sees her as a good friend. Queen Moedusa though! I hope they don’t neglect her in this adaptation since she’s Xiao Yan’s 2nd wife and one very powerful and (tsundere) girl. Heh

Medusa is actually my fave female char in the book, but based on the trailer she seems to be placed way behind the rest of the female leads.. probably also signifies the amount of screen time she will get.. sad.. the female lead seems refreshing though, hope they make her less bland as compared to the book counterpart..
Leo’s Xiao Yan seems more likable than the book’s too.. think they changed the story quite a bit because there’s no way 45 episodes can tell the story.. don’t know how the novel’s fans will react to this though..
