If I have to be completely honestly, I’m not that thrilled with this news. Lol. There was a phase in my life where Feng Shao Feng made me swoon but that phase has long been gone. Maybe this drama will reel me back with his hotness? He’s confirmed to be Zhao Li Ying‘s leading man in The Legend of the Concubine’s Daughter Ming Lan (庶女明兰传) written by Guan Xin Ze Luan, contrary to all the rumored actors.
This made me think back to Li Ying’s interview with Sina where she’s asked to describe the three latest actors she works with. Lin Geng Xin is a husky, Kris Wu is an angry bird, and Feng Shao Feng is a white horse….because he’s the Prince on a white horse, the reason being he’s the Monk in the Monkey King 3, and now the prince in her new series. Well, well, well.
Synopsis [Subject to change with future edits] The story follows our heroine through her youth, into her adulthood, and well into her marriage life as well. She’s the 6th child of the Sheng household. Though she is an intelligent and beautiful child, she was not loved by her family (her dad, her sisters, her mom dies early.) She has to hide her intelligence and suffers through the years, hoping to avenge for her mom. During this process she will meet many friends and foes, one of which is our male lead, Gu’s second son, Gu Ting Ye. He has helped and mistreated her before, but also the one to witness her sharp wits and lonely soul. After they get married, they will work together as a power couple, managing the new King’s regime as well as harvesting a world of happiness on their own. This is what they have released the other day about the synopsis. [Credit: Kappy]
