When We Were Young (青春最好时) is the remake of Korean drama, Who Are You: School 2015 which starred Kim So Hyun, Nam Joo Hyuk and Yook Sung Jae. That drama didn’t end well for me because the love lines started to blur and the one she should love, she doesn’t love! GAHHH. My heart. The Chinese remake cast Zhang Xue Ying, Joseph Zeng Shun Xi, and Wang Bo Wen.
Stills:
Our female leads (twins) are portrayed by Zhang Xue Ying (Romance of the Condor Heroes 2014). One is raised by an adopted mother and the other is raised in an orphanage. One twist of fate and a lot of bullying leads the orphanage sister to commit suicide but she’s saved by her twin and they switched identity to solve some mysteries within the school, confusing rivals, friends, and two genuinely good boys.
Our male lead, the Prince on campus, Joseph Zeng Shun Xi (Fighter of the Destiny).
OTP.
Second male lead, Wang Bo Wen, the quirky and problematic child with a heart of gold.
The bully, Zhao Xiu Lei.
Official Trailer:
Directed by Zhou Yuan Zhou (Legend of the Dragon Pearl, Chusen) and written by Duan Tian Tian, Zhang Jing, and Liu Yan Jun (The Love of Happiness), When We Were Young has completed filming, waiting for a broadcast slot.

Second male lead looks like his character is gonna break my heart harder this second time around the story. I seriously thought the second lead was gonna be our main otp and the older twin can have the swimmer.
