Zhao Li Ying’s Wax Figure at Beijing Madame Tussauds Museum

Oh…. This is not cute… Oh…. I really did hope they were more creative with these wax figures, instead of just styling them like boring stars, should have used their popular characters instead. When they promote Bi Yao’s character poster dark outline, I thought they would use that image instead. But we got this…. a much-older Zhao Li Ying who looks like she’s now a rich unfeeling woman in society. Lol.

Included the wax figures of the other “three flowers (Liu Yi Fei, Yang Mi, and Liu Shi Shi.)” A separate post for the boys will be coming up!

The only good thing at this event is how cute Li Ying looks. I love the hair and the cute dress, even though it’s not popping (again) in color, the cutout and design are super adorable. *thumb up!* I want it!!

I think they did one heck of a good job with Yang Mi‘s wax figure. They captured her elegance.

They have also aged Liu Shi Shi too. Lol.

Was really hoping to see Liu Yi Fei as Xiao Long Nv instead. This is boring!

Out of the ladies wax figures, I think LYF looks the most decent lol. I cringe when I saw LSS’s wax figure.

LSS’s figure looked nothing like her! I wouldn’t have known it was her if she didn’t stand beside it lol.

They made LYF’s nose bigger too. Yang Mi looks the best.

LOL agree with you Kappy! ZLY wax got the boring hair style again, and the smile fades from far away. At least better than LSS, looked nothing like LSS at all. LYF and YM got the better waxes.

With the exception of YM’s wax figure- how can the others pass QA. LSS one didnt resemble her in my opinion.

They should have use the red George Hobeika dress LY wore for the iQiYi event in 2015 I still think it’s her best dress to date

Can’t they make the wax figures show some teeth??? What’s with all the exact smile from all four ladies. Do they mold their faces? If so then that makes sense why they’re all look so dead lol. I agree with Kappy, the best one is definitely Yang Mi. Her wax figure looks the most like her, the other ladies were just unfortunate.

I am probably one of the few minority here but I thought there was a great likeness to her wax. It was a very nice and elegant dress. I think it was the one she worn as Weibo Queen. Granted I would have preferred her in bright red but I am quite happy with this one. I was half afraid that they would do it on her Hua Qian Gu’s character tbh. I do agree that Yang Mi’s wax was perhaps the most successful, the others weren’t that bad except for LSS. I didn’t quite recognize her there.

We need preference from all sides to make this world multifaceted! =)

I just think they aged her (and the other ladies) too much. LOL@Hua Qian Gu’s wax figure. I would visit that darn museum and give her statue a little windy push ~~

I agree. They tend to aged their models which was a real pity really. She is so adorably cute in real person. They could have made the wax figures with real smiles showing some pearly teeth maybe. Anyways, I am happy for LY because I think this is an honour to have your wax figure at Mme Tussaud’s. Not everyone get one right.

What do you think?
