I can really feel the themesong for “A Life Time Love” by G.E.M, just like when i heard “Liang Liang” for TLTW. Amazing what these songs are doing to me.
Hope the drama makes the song justice though 😛 I’m gonna watch the drama for Wu Qian and Luo Yun Xi as I’ve read about their characters’ descriptions. I’ve also heard there will be no happy ending, but sometimes I feel sad endings are good too…they leave you with an empty feeling , a feeling you can not explain but you feel good and satisfied all at the same time…if that makes sense 😛

Wait what are their character descriptions? I love Wu Qian and Leo so will watch for them but Idk anything about their characters.
Tbh tho, I’m not fond of either Huang Xiao Ming or Victoria, but everyone looks super pretty in the stills and the styling looks nice and cool. I know a lot of novel fans have issues with the colors they’re wearing cuz from what I hear, they only wear certain colors and those colors have meaning important to the text. But, just as the styling from a drama (pretending it’s not an adaptation), I think it looks good overall.

I read the descriptions on a Vietnamese site, I don’t really know if I’m translating correctly, but basically, Leo plays Victorias brother, they are best friends. He’s elegant and polite, enthusiasm as well. He would do anything right to protect his family and will later on fall in love with Wu Qian’s character, and they will get married.
Wu Qian plays the captain of a clan (forgot the clan’s name), she’s good in martial arts, her forte is assassinate (scary :P). She’s friendly and generous with everyone, but also real. She has a clear barrier between love and hate. She falls in love with Leo’s character. They have a passionate love (die together, live together).

Listening to the theme songs again, then I realise that the lyrics for 最初的记忆 makes absolutely no sense. I mean there are lines like
这一刻才发现再想一次之前
才懂到明白你已经不见
爱情本来就想起
Either the lyricist is really bad, or my Mandarin is not up to standard. The melody is fine, but the lyrics just make me go “Wth?”.
