Oh! This is an interesting collaboration. Confirmations are in for Bolin Chen and Jing Tian for The King of Blaze or Fire King (火王), a Taiwanese comic written by You Su Lan, the second installment to her The Seven Mirrors’ Stories series. I have never been a comic reader so has anyone read this author’s works before? This manhua specifically?

The story mainly focuses on the God of Fire (King of Blaze) Chung Tʻien and God of Wind Chʻien Mei. Chʻien Mei had been followed Chung Tʻien for such a long time. Although Chung Tʻien is the God of Fire, but he had been known as a cold-hearted person among all the seven gods. While living in the human world watching over his companion Hao Yüeh’s reincarnation during the Tʻang dynasty, which was one of the seven gods in the past life, Chung Tʻien met a beautiful fortune teller named Ssŭ-tʻu Fêng-chien. The fortune teller actually is the reincarnation of Chʻien Mei, but Chung Tʻien didn’t recognize him due to his cross-dressing and looks exactly as a beautiful girl. Eventually the two fell in love. I read manhua before, but not this one. That info probably didn’t help 😀 The artwork looks familiar…. Too bad they won’t keep the bl thing.. but Jing Tian and Bolin would look lovely together. I’m a sucker for past reincarnations and fantasy elements 😛

If they removed the BL elements will it still be recognisable to the original. i guess they r aiming for national TV hence no BL? its not a web drama ryt?

Totally a fan of Jing Tian now after GoTD so going to put this on my list.
So far just by judging by looks, she and Bolin Chen look pretty good together. <3
