Theme Song MV by Li Jian:

Amazon reviews the novel, “In the 1990s, as China continues to embrace—and grapple with—the global market economy, Qiu Shui and his friends attend med school, an ambition that has more to do with getting out of the country than with actually becoming doctors. Following the exploits of a young student and his classmates, from drinking binges, sex, and playing video games all night to military training, homework, and college-age high jinks, Beijing, Beijing provides an inventive, hilarious, and incisive look into how a culture—and one man—struggle to reconcile their past with the changes brought by modern times. As the years pass and friends, family, and lovers move on, Qiu Shui confronts the loneliness and confusion that define his generation.”

Directed by Ma Jin and written by Zhou Yong, 10 Miles of Spring Wind Can’t Compare to You has 40 episodes with no air date yet.

Am I the only one that had the shivers listening to this song? It’s so damn good! It’s so nostalgia and really beautiful! While I was listening, it reminded me of 贝加尔湖畔 sang by 李健. checked and realised this song is also sang by him. As expected of 李健, his voice always have a way to touch you, and remind you of the very olden days. This was the one of the reasons why I enjoyed 无心法师 a lot, the OST was so amazing and fit the drama perfectly. Another song to add to my list.

Totally unrelated but Kappy your website header is so cute omg, mochi!!!

This movie really reminds me of Zhou Dong Yu’s other youth/nostalgia movie, My Old Classmate, with Lin Geng Xin. But I find Zhou Dong Yu adorable in everything, even if she plays a lot of these manic pixie dream girl characters.

What do you think?
