What did they do to the photoshoot for Hu Ge? What a waste!

Nope to the rumoured casting of Lin Yun as Mulan lol… I couldn’t stand her acting in The Mermaid, she was 撒娇ing her way through the movie. Is there a movie that anyone knows of that can give me a different POV…..
Honestly I always had NiNi in mind as Mulan for some reason haha!

Damn, Ma Su looks so sexy!!! Can’t wait to see her on screen again!

Ruby and Sun Li looks gorgeous as always sigh! And Chen Yao really looks beautiful~

Mark Chao is killing me with his photoshoot! So handsome?! Washed away my image of him in 3L3W, that horrible witch looking costume and hairdo *shivers*

Yeah I was like…so….Hu Ge went Hobo and insane at the same time, what the heck???

A new Mulan???? NOoooo, not the mermaid girl please. Why can’t there just be a very very very beautiful Mulan for once, just once. Although Mulan might not be pretty in real life…omg how I just wish there can be a very beautiful Mulan that can fight awesome at the same time. Can’t think of anyone right now who will meet that criteria, but since you mention NiNi I got to really agree a lot. She is so freaken gorgeous! I don’t know about others but whenever girls wear men clothes that annoys the heck out of me in C-dramas, most of them has their girl features showing so much that makes things so obvious, but I think there is a matureness in Nini’s face that can make her look like a man if without too much makeup. At first I didn’t find her that pretty nor cute anywhere except a sexy figure for modeling. But after watching her movies, I was surprised she acted well in cutesy role without annoyance as well as being more reserved. So she could really be one hot Mulan! Kind of evil thoughts, but kind of wish there is a way to swap her for the role now hehehe.

Sun Li is very beautiful in that one dress, and cannot believe Ruby is so back in shape and young.

Ni Ni would be a perfect Mulan! She has that fresh beauty that’s very rare today. I wish she was more popular.

I haven’t watched The Mermaid, reviews aren’t promising. Ha. She is like a mixture of Ni Ni and Shu Qi to me.

A lot of fangirls fell heads over heels for Mark’s wigs, especially when he flicked them. Lol.

I didn’t enjoy the movie, it wasn’t funny and interesting… But my friend enjoyed it saying that it had the Stephen Chow feel, and I went ?? really?

OMG HAHAHHAHA NOW THAT YOU REMINDED ME HAHAHAHA! I will forever remember that classic scene of him spitting out blood while flicking his hair and maintaining that beautiful hand posture HAHHAA!!

LOL the witch costume is a very accurate description now that the movie version came out with yang yang in nice armors. The costume was pretty bad because of its plainness, color it white instead and he’ll turn into one of those disciples or choose any other color and it will still look weird. At least he pulled off with it, along with the hair.

jelly lin reminds me of Ni Ni. I think Michelle Chen will be perfect as Mulan. what ya think?

    • 20 thoughts on “Friday Photoshoots: Shu Chang, Chen Yao, Mark Zhao

Michelle Chen has a pretty, feminine face. I’m thinking of someone with sharper features, a pretty boy, but can definitely pack a punch (not a twig). Where to find her?!

      • 20 thoughts on “Friday Photoshoots: Shu Chang, Chen Yao, Mark Zhao

Somehow that description reminds of the crisp-sharp-hansome-rocking-the-short-cut Jiao Jun Yan.

        • 20 thoughts on “Friday Photoshoots: Shu Chang, Chen Yao, Mark Zhao

YES!!! YESS!! It’s her!! Thanks Juli!

What a cute boy she would make!

I think Zhang Tian Ai can be an interesting pick for Mulan.

      • 20 thoughts on “Friday Photoshoots: Shu Chang, Chen Yao, Mark Zhao

YES! YES! YES! Zhang Tian Ai is so underrated but she’s easily a better actress than most of the actresses her age. She’s effortlessly graceful yet fierce at the same time – and can pull off the handsome flower thing really well.

That ‘For Him’ magazine shoot live up to its name. 😀

  4. 20 thoughts on “Friday Photoshoots: Shu Chang, Chen Yao, Mark Zhao

Props to Hu Ge for showing his character versatility with these edgy shots instead of just looking dapper and urbane all the time.

I REALLY don’t see the appeal with Lin Yun and why she’s getting all these offers and promotion. She was really quite terrible in the ONE movie ppl know her from…it’s a strange situation. (She also seems really catty and 撒娇 also in reality shows, which might not even be her real personality, but it makes it really hard to like her when she portrays that kind of onscreen persona)

Female, Chen Yao’s cute, but my fav was Ruby Lin’s. None of the shoots were particularly original or different, but Ruby is so undeniably flawless and timelessly gorgeous that she really stood out to me. Male, Wang Kai for sure. I’m a DIE-HARD Hu Ge fan, but his shoot, while interesting in shot angle and the muted moodiness, artisticness, wasn’t my fav Hu-Ge-shoot. But Wang Kai. How does that man look so sharp cut and rocking in every suit? Give the man a suit with the right cut, and he can rock any patterned suit. Mark Zhao’s shoot for me was nice but kind of bland, BUT that one pic of his perfect profile with the sunlight hitting his face and showing off the great undercut-hairstyle highlighted as he stared up was GORGEOUS.

    • 20 thoughts on “Friday Photoshoots: Shu Chang, Chen Yao, Mark Zhao

Yeah agree about Lin Yun! Thought I was the only one who felt that way about her when seeing her in variety shows!!!! That one time when she went Running Brothers, she was still okay. But the recent Happy Camp episode when she guested, my gosh… She was so act cutish to the point whereby I kept skipping her parts! Especially that part when she called Stephen Chow for help……

    • 20 thoughts on “Friday Photoshoots: Shu Chang, Chen Yao, Mark Zhao

Same! Like she can’t act all. Apparently she’s also a not -so-pleasant person to be around with. Now I know it’s just rumours but when there’s smoke there’s fire. I’m sure there’s still someone unknown that is still waiting for their chance and much better acting then she is 🙁 Why Stephen Chow??

Anyway for Disney Mulan I think they should choose a Chinese American. No, not a hapa either 😛

      • 20 thoughts on “Friday Photoshoots: Shu Chang, Chen Yao, Mark Zhao

Oh it’s actually disney version, I didn’t read carefully.
Yeah, sounds like Nini again, someone who looks both chinese-american and chinese-chinese LOL I’m so bias

Kris Wu is the very definition of beauty. That’s all I have to contribute.

P.S. I need him in a drama ASAP.
