Yes! Dropped all three in one day! Remember the baby teaser that we got eons ago? Lol. Once Upon A Time is the movie adaptation of the controversial novel Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms (三生三世十里桃花) written by Tang Qi Gong Zi, starring Yang Yang and Liu Yi Fei.
Just watched the trailer. Very impressed with the music choice and fighting scenes. Felt like I was swept off my feet. Yay!!

Ahhhh!!! Didn’t think I’ll like the trailer so much. LOL. I LOVE the drama version and hope that the movie will will be able to pull it off (considering the things that happens in the novel itself may be too long to condense into a two hours film). But the trailer CGI looks amazing and so far the actors seems to be pulling off well. I’m still reserving my opinions until the film. Too bad I have to wait a few months after July to be able to see it. I love in the US. 🙁

This is the best CGI I have ever seen in a China movie hands down really… It looks really really really good. And it really does have this authentic Chinese flavour to it which I really love.
Honestly YangYang looks quite like a young kid here even with the ever beautiful and youthful LYF beside him. I am hoping his voice which he dubbed himself and his acting would cover it up and really be able to portray YeHua!
LYF gorgeous as usual, she is Bai Qian for me.

IT LOOKS SO GOOD!! AMAZING!! I didn’t watch the drama because the story sounds too crazy and confusing with three lifetimes and cookie cutter villain.
The trailer rocks my socks. Loving the music composition, the directing, and the fighting scenes! Especially the visual couple. No offense to anyone by Yang Mi’s over-whelming plastic surgery and gel hair just ruins me. I’m very shallow. Rofl.
A 2-hr long movie is always >>> 50+ episodes. I have short attention span too. Hahaah

the movie may have a more expensive feel to it but it also feels cartoonish. lyf has always been a miss for me (other than heaven dragon the eight episode). i love yang yang in 020 and seen a few movie roles but the jury is still out on whether he can give the intensity / nuances to ye hua and mo yuan.
it also feels like a different story from the trailer to me because i’m not feeling the characters yet. lol it was weird to hear “su su” and “ye hua” in the trailer and automatically think yang mi and mark chao. haha

The visual in this movie is daebaaakk. Really good. So good looking. With such an amazing trailer, i still put my expectation as lower as possible. I used to like some trailers but then… Sigh. So this one… Please be good. With the director and crew behind other big productions plus one of the most popular actor and actress, please just be good.
But am i the only one thinking that the vibe of this trailer is different from drama? Probably bcuz in this movie, they’re more focusing on war etc while drama more into romance. Shrug.

Looks very good! I love her fox tails, they seems to be the BEST tails I’ve seen so far. I’m quite annoyed at the bad computerized tails that I even wished they can just use some handmade materials instead.
Liu yi fei is really a multi-talent. She can fight, dance, sing, etc…. Not many actresses can really fight strong like her without too much annoying slow motion and magic powers, closest one is Liu Shishi who is also good at everything too. Yeah still can’t believe they’re not only similar by looks but even talents too! I usually get very surprised by many Chinese actresses real voices BTS because they sound very informal just like us normal people LOL, but Liu yifei is one of the few who has a very special and angelic voice, it’s so soothing at all times that she should rarely need a dubber at all.
I really want to watch this and cannot wait!!! 🙁

I didn’t like drama BQ so I hope I will like movie BQ with LYF portrayal. The drama BQ is more like a maid trapped in a Queen’s body. She didn’t has an ounce of royalty within her. I hope to see a little cooler version of YH. I like Mark’s portrayal for sure, but his YH is a little overly emotional, a little too much crying for me.
