The main leading cast is revealed for upcoming music-themed drama, Healing Love (幸福的理由). Beside male lead Wallace Chung, the production team has announced female lead in Wang Xiao Chen (Hu Ge’s Good Time) and our resident dependent second male lead in Qiao Zhen Yu. Dude, why is he always the go-to third wheel?! As reported earlier, the cast will be taking music lessons, with Wallace busying himself with the violin and conductor classes, and the rest is still under wraps.

I am disappointed in the choice of leading ladies. And i wishes qiao zhen yu would have more leading roles. He is handsome and a good actor on his own. This the second up and coming series with him and Wallace Chung together. I know wallace is handsome and has a baby face and it works with some actress. But I wished he was paired with actress more pare with his acting like liu tao, jaing xin or tong liya. Crossing fingers for better actresses choices. I Watched some of good times and stopped it wasnt that interesting even though i am a huge Hu Ge Fan. The leading lady was so blah.

Interestingly, Wallace Chung and Qiao Zhen Yu are members of the famous quartet of Tianya beauties (天涯四美), which also includes Yan Kuan and Wallace Huo.
Anyway, I think Wallace is over-exposed at this point. I also wish that he’ll take up more serious roles instead of these… “lame” dramas.

I wish the same such a good actor. I feel these are filler drama. He has potential for more hard on acting oppertunities. I would like to really see him in another Republican era series.

These idol dramas are a quick way to earn cash and doesn’t really require you to “act” maybe that’s why? but yeah it is disappointing since he’s like 40 and still doing these kiddy dramas. =/

We haven’t been told about the premise of the story line yet, so I wouldn’t be so quick to judge that it’s a “filler” drama or an “Idol” drama . However, these types of musical story line needs an appealing actress to make people tune in. Wang Xiao Chen doesn’t have a recognizable face or an acting path that deserved praise either. I seriously have yet to see any dramas that deals w/ music (orchestra for that matter) become successful. It’s really an uninteresting topic if I must be honest.
Hmmm…kind of harsh comments so far, but on the bright side we get 2 HOT veteran actors in one dramas in Wallace Chung and Qiao Zhen Yu.

Sorry, I am a huge fan of Wallace and I just want to see something more on his level! You are right, it is too quick to judge, I see that they are taking music lesson so they are pretty serious about the drama. I hope it turns out! And yes the leading lady is nothing to be excited about. And yes it is awesome to see the two veteran actor in the same drama, I just wish they would pair them with a more suitable leading lady. Nothing wrong with giving it a try! I hope Qiao Zhen Yu Song of Phoenix helps him shine, he has been taking on second lead lately, and he’s a good actor too!
