Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms (三生三世十里桃花) is the drama adaptation of Tang Qi Gong Zi‘s novel, depicting the lives of two immortals as they are teared apart in one lifetime and given another chance to meet through another form of themselves. Yang Mi and Mark Zhao portray the twisted lives.

Thank you so much for this article and most of all for the trailer…gosh O_O this one showed brillantly what amount of work is put into the scenery, the atmosphere, costumes and even in little potts for all these ancient dramas..the detail and time…it is really humbling…
Seeing this only makes me think..that all this is often ignored when seeing bad acting or a bad script..which is really a shame..
I never read the novel..so I am hoping that this will be a great drama.

I only read snippets of the story posted by various commentators and I have to say, it’s a bit neurotic. LOL. I think it’s a good thing I didn’t read it. heh.
True, we don’t see the work they put in behind the scene so I’m really happy when actors thank the production crew and staff members. They work hard day-in and day-out to create set, maintain hairstyles, make beautiful/colorful/remarkable robes. Kudos!

It sounds like later, in defending herself from her plagiarism issues, among other things that TQ did was that TQ attacked the original author from which she plagiarized.

I don’t know if I remember correctly but Zhe Yan and the 4th brother gave me BL vibes when I was reading. They are both fond of and takes care of the female lead.

I wasn’t too excited about the drama version but it doesn’t look too shabby. Who knows? Maybe I’ll end up liking it. Sorry being shallow here but I never found Mark Chao charming or handsome so…maybe it will change through the drama. Speaking of Tribes and Empire, when will that be released? That’s my anticipated drama for next year! 🙂
