The story features Chen Xiao (Romance of the Condor Heroes 2014) and Sun Li (Legend of Mi Yue) in a period drama at the end of the Qing Dynasty in Shaanxi, surrounding the merchant trade of silk. They held a press conference a few hours ago and boy was it a star-studded event from the TV industry with TVB ladies Myolie Wu and Niki Chow, as well as Ren Zhong, Yu Hao Ming, and veteran Zhang Chen Guang in attendance.

Stills:

Sun Li as Zhou Ying. She wanders jianghu for a time before transforming her life with a chance encounter. She’s sold by her adopted father into the Shen family as a servant. When she tries to run away from them, she gets into the chair sedan of Wu Pin (Peter Ho) and earns their trust through her witty business moves. When Shen Xing Yi (Chen Xiao) suspects Wu Pin in the murder of his elder brother, he injures him, which leads to the marriage between Zhou Ying and Wu Pin, in an effort to dispel his unlucky “air.” After Wu Pin dies and the family weaving business falters, Zhou Ying is the one to maneuver the whole clan and gets locked up in the process by the angry foreigners. After she is released, Zhou Ying rekindles her working spirit to rebuild the Wu weaving business and becomes the richest family in the area.

I couldn’t keep a straight face looking at the line of bald men in suits. Love the Qing dynasty, just not the hairstyles. Or lack of hair.

I’ll show myself the door now.

Lol ur comment- Made me laugh. I Love the dynasty for the females, not so much the males. I thk the only person i never question or bother about his hair is Wong Fei Hung whose face in my head is always Jet Li

Yes hk celeb have weird fashion sense. Especially the men. The things they wear to award shows are so weird. Sometimes the women have really nice dress, but most of the time it looks like those fancy dress u can buy at asian bridal store hehe.

Even the most handsome actors look clownish in Qing Dynasty pigtails and clothes.
