Now that’s out of the way, we saw Huang Zi Tao without his monkey hair last time and now the production has revealed his transformation into the Monkey King and it’s some scary and impressive stuff. Props to the make-up department. Yeah, you can’t tell that it’s Huang Zi Tao – it could have been anyone under all that make-up.
Yin Zheng! He looks very adorable here. I need something to wipe away the image he had in Sparrow.
I haven´t seen many monkey kings so far….but for me, I love this version the most..great make up!! I also really love the green-white clothes he is wearing.

Also it would be nice if they keep the theme song. Even as a sub theme. Love that song.

Props to Tao for donning all those monkey furs and the make-up team. It seems like a hassle when putting on the fur for most of the dramas that has the monkey king in it 😛
Never thought I’d get to see Tao as the Monkey King.
He knows martial art so I’m expecting some awesome fight scenes
