Held every two year, the title of Golden Eagle Goddess of 2016 goes to hard-working Tang Yan. Interesting result, I thought it would go to Yang Zi or Zheng Shuang to be honest but I guess they’re still young, their time will come. The chosen actress gets to perform the opening act at the China TV Golden Eagle Award night on the 16th.

Basically a popularity title given to the most hard-working and most popular among the actresses.
I think most agreed with Zheng Shuang cause she gets constant mention in the news and has good dramas back to back despite mediocre acting, imho. Lol.
I thought Yang Mi with the Interpreter.

I also thought it would be ZS. Since she leads the voting & has many hit dramas this past two years. But I dont mind if TY is the winner. Since I also love her & yes she has many hit dramas. Well basically I dont mind if Tang Yan, Yang Mi, Zheng Shuang or Dilraba become the winner. Since I love all of them LOL ❤️

Not surprised that it was Tang Yan. Her dramas have enjoyed good ratings the past two years. Her productivity level is high.
Yang Zi and Zheng Shuang are both too new for it. I’d give them another 3-4 years. They need a few more dramas to add to their list!

I guess it makes sense for them to wait a few more years, but if not them, I would have picked Yang Mi. Lol. But the voting method changed this year as well, public voting is removed (I remember voting for Li Ying in 2014, heh), hence the general mixed reaction but ultimately everyone agrees that Tang Yan has paid her dues.

Golden Eagle Art Festival is the actual festival’s name. It takes place for 3 days in Hunan. The Golden Eagle Awards are what they hand out to the winners.

i like her dress and crown, better than li ying’s two years ago – hers was just so unfitting for a tiny frame.
i was betting on yang mi, tbh!! she has les interpreter, which is more recent than any of ty’s dramas, and is far more productive in terms of recruiting and pushing the newbies into the limelight. i can see why some fans are upset. lols.

If its a battle of acting, Obviously Tang Yan compared to ZS. If Yang Mi’s 10 miles of blossom was released this year plus popularity of Interpreter (the dramas’s gd in the first half), she would have a chance.
Havent seen anythg from Tang Yan this year. But im waiting for her empress drama (forgot the name, but a smart n wise girl with a backbone kindalike Lu Zhen rising in the palace)

Should understand this golden Eagle spent 2years to examine. Tang yan2015 has a lot of her outstanding in different roles and 2016 has more movies. She should deserve this reward. I don’t understand why some people just cheer their actress by without reason without data and without judgement.

Honestly, that dress is the most ill-fitting of all years. She’s so tiny for that crown. Horrible stylist.
