These two productions crack me up. Same day release of stills, press conference, and a final trailer? If you were Ding Mo, how would you feel? Proud that your works are being compared? Upset that they are being compared? Anyhoo, good thing for us fans is you don’t have to choose one over another, unless you want to. Lol. I’m interested in both! 😀

Haven’t been watching anything much.
Personally the storyline of Memory Lost is more interesting (for me) since their past is connected with the crimes they are solving…somewhat lol.
With When a Snail Falls in Love you get a more case of crimes unrelated…I think ? . It’s been a while since I’ve read both novels and I don’t remember finishing them since Ding Mo’s novels are long and very detailed in those bloody parts.
For romance, WASFIL focuses in a developing the romance and how close they started to get. ML is attraction but the past is holding the two back. Then it jumps into their couple parts. I’m just saying what I know. Who knows what Yumama throws at us. 😛
I do question though, who is taller: Bai Yu or Wang Kai? I think Yang Rong is a bit taller than Wang Zi Wen? All these tall folks 😀

What I didn’t realize is both of them lost their memories! Usually only one lead. Lol. Makes it interesting.
From their baidu profile, Bai Yu is 183cm (WHATTTTTTT??) Nick is 182cm.

People at Viki are trying to get both licenses… although WASFIL is more popular. Thankfully, there’s a group that picked up that drama. Nick bringing in the viewers 🙂
Can’t wait for Memory Lost! And l was really lost for words! l never thought the drama would be THAT heavy! l thought it was about group of agents doing their jobs catching bad guys every day while searching for memories and it has a lot of lovely and comedy scenes O_____O feel like l was watching 2 different dramas! Now l feel like it would definitely have bad ending….. should l watch it or not?

Looking forward to both but if I were to base it on the trailers alone, I am leaning more towards WASFIL.
I am fervently hoping that it will both be subbed, and that it will be better than the LMIYD adaptation. I loved the novel (save for the dramatic ending), but I still haven’t finished the drama.
A group of Wang Kai fans have been trying to get Viki to license WASFIL so hopefully subtitles will follow!

Still torn about Memory Lost so I’ll wait on it. Gotta see what my fellow book readers think of the adaptation.
WASFIL, on the other hand, I’m looking forward to it a lot. Still haven’t decided if I want to watch it while it airs or wait on it as well. At least I’m not worried about the script since Ding Mo wrote it herself.

I read WASFIL and I’m not looking forward to a drama adaptation. I think Ding Mo’s novels are all so similar and that’s the reason why I didn’t read Memory Lost. WASFIL basically turned me away from all of her novels.

I wished the male leads and female leads would swop. Meaning, Yang Rong with Wang Kai would be my ultimate dream, not sure in which of the drama though…LOL
Once again, impressed by the trailer for Memory Lost! I see quite a number of scenes that are similar to those in the novel! Surprised Yu Zheng actually followed the novel lol! I feel that his dramas go in a way that if it’s good, it will be really good; when bad, really bad. Yun Zhong Ge was terrible ttm, have always wondered why the ratings was not bad…
Im liking Memory Lost so much more than WASL so far, from the trailers alone. WASL just doesn’t have that feeling that makes me want to watch it. And I don’t feel the chemistry between the leads… not really fond of Wang ZiWen as XuXu, she’s so different from what I imagined XuXu to be.
And yes, I would love to see a collab between Yang Rong and Nick Wang!
I agree with the really good and really bad statement. As of right now, the trailer for ML is indeed slightly more interesting than WSFIL. So hopefully, ML will be one of the good ones.
