Kill Me Heal Me Chinese Remake confirms Zhang Yi San and Cai Wen Jing

Interesting and refreshing pairing. Always a plus when they get new faces to star in popular remakes. In this case, it’s the highly-buzzed Korean series of 2015, Kill Me Heal Me, with Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum, where our hero has seven personalities and our heroine as the first-year psychiatric resident trying to help him gain back control as a whole. Actor Zhang Yi San (Yu Zui, Escape Route) and Cai Wen Jing (So Young, The Interns) have been announced as our sizzling OTP. The new adaptation changes its name to Seven of Me (七个我) and for the longest time after Huace announced its plan to remake the series, a lot of names were thrown out to play the sophisticated hero, but I think we have landed a dark horse in Yi Shan. He has this off-kilter feel to me. Lol.

Though I didn’t finish Kill Me, I’m looking forward to see Nana again. LOL!

Funny how immediately after his casting announcement, netizens dug up Yi San’s info. Nothing scandalous, only noting that he’s good friend with another child actress that we have come to know and love – Andy Yang Zi. Both are graduates from Beijing Film Academy, along with Shawn Dou, Zhou Dong Yu, Zheng Shuang, Jing Tian and Cai Wen Jing, etc.

Yang Zi and Yi San started out in the family sitcom Home With Kids back in 2005 (!!) and continued to star in a couple of more dramas together, gaining fans who wish they would be a couple in real life. Check out their awkward teenage selves below. So cute! I can’t believe all the kids I used to watch have grown up now… Time…

Fine young things! Looks like they are planning another sequel to Home With Kids and Yi Shan is considering to support but Andy might be busy with Ode 2.

OMG! They were so cute back then!! Their messed up teeth and fashion back in the days. Lols!

He looks a bit crazy to me too so I guess thats a good thing. Not as handsome as Ji Sung but acting is raw and thats what I need.

Couldn’t finish the original because Hwang Jung Eum screamed my ears out. Signature move.

Yesterday these twoncuties just uploaded pictures together and today I see this article…lol they are really moving up my bias list of adorable people.

I remember reading and article about him, they asked him if the two of them were to star in another drama what relationship he wanted to be in with her, he said older brother, because he was older by a couple of months but had to call her older sister for the entirety of Home with Kids.

I think he will do well in the role, he is versitial from the few roles I’ve seen him in.

If these two ever star in a role together I hope it’s a romantic comedy or at least put them in variety since I like them both from what I’ve seen them on. Yang Zi is very bubbly and so loud while Yi Shan is game for anything and very fit.

I read that interview too. So cute of him to hold a grudge! hahaha! Definitely would want to see them in a romcom! His facial muscles are ready to work! XD

    Ngaww so cute!

Haven’t seen the K-drama but Zhang Yishan is a quirky actor, the role fits him really well. And I liked Cai Wen Jing in the 匆匆那年 drama version. Should be interesting!

How was the performance all around Tokkita? Did our Hua Qian Gu boys do well? =D

Ooo no I meant this other drama ^_^; I forgot the english title but looked it up just then LOL and realised she and Yang Le were in both Back In Time and So Young (with the HQG boys). There’s soo many high school dramas nowadays haha.

I dont know this kid. Im worried. Didn’t like wen jing very much either so I am screwed. Ji sung did such a good job I cant imagine any other actor in his roles.

But nice to see new faces. I see people recommending wallace chung again md Im like really?!!!! Hes in so many dramas, playing the same/similar roles over and over.

So the ban on Korean entertainment does not apply to K-dramas and K-variety adaptions/remakes I guess? Wish they could put a ban on that instead of banning aka editing TV shows in order to remove Koreans from the screen…….
