Official First Trailer for Legend of Ravaging Dynasties

Finally a real trailer instead of the constant behind-the-scene works. Don’t get me wrong, I like those too, but I also want to see some real action and concrete work. It’s definitely a very refreshing concept (motion captioning) for China to tackle, and let’s hope it opens doors for more creative storytelling!

The Cast Members Posing for Cosmo This Month:

Really love the rich and dark colors for this shoot, even if it’s indoor!

It looks cool. I still don’t get the storyline or plot to this movie?! If anyone does, please explain it to me. ^_^

It’s a long and complicated story but basically there are 7 lords and they’re going to fight for dominance.

DANG! These technologies!!! It’s very likely to be a big hit considering how much people like anime, this 3D style gives out more taste too. So I guess no more chances for us to judge people acting skills, their looks, and backdrops, eh? Everything matches everything perfectly in the 3D or animated world.

Acting can definitely be judged, considering they still acted to get those facial expressions.

I’m intrigued with Amber Kuo’s character but Kris Wu’s character is definitely the most attractive. Would love to watch this in 3D if I can.

        Hi frea,
Thanks for pointing me to the compilation post. I’m not very good in navigating websites and such. Blame it on my age. >_< I did read about it coming soon in July but July is so near and no one seems to be able to give an exact date. I have a feeling it's going to be delayed. 🙁

Baidu says it starts July 2nd on Hunan TV, 2 eps a day. Hunan TV is currently showing Yang Mi’s Interpreter. There is probably another series between “Interpreter” and this “Chusen”. Baidu.baike.com usually has a webpage for all upcoming well-known series. You just need to type in the title on the search bar there every few months or weeks. Most of the time, they will get updated with broadcast date. It would be nice to have a website that has the broadcast schedule of all the major TV stations together in a matrix form during the season when there are a lot of anticipated series about to go on broadcast.

Thanks very much, Kap, for providing such a nice forum. A lot of readers here are very nice and helpful. I dread reading comments on some websites where people get nasty and hostile. Calling each other names and fight over their favorite celebs. Thanks to all nice fellow readers here.

Reminds me of Beowulf, so I’d watch this.

The trailer looks stunning! Now I’m dreaming of a “The Journey of Flower” remake with motion capture technology. Does anyone know if the L.O.R.D. novel has been completed? Or is it still being worked on?
