Trailer:

  • The story follows arrogant third master (Elvis) of a powerful family falling in love at first sight with a pretty young maiden (Sun Yi) and uses every means possible to force her hand in marriage, despite her harboring a crush on another man (Jeremy Tsui). In the beginning of a coerced marriage, she resents him and rejects all his advances and gestures of love, but their love story slowly develops after going through obstacles in times of war and chaos. However, things get interesting/complicated when her old flame returns to become her husband’s assistant.

If Time Could Stop at The Moment When We First Met is directed by Lai Shui Ching (The Magic Blade, The Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils) and He Shu Pei (Legend of Fragrance, Liu Shan Men), and written by Guo Bao Xian (Sealed With A Kiss, A Clear Midsummer Night). No airing date yet.

Probably NOT gonna watch this, but can I just say Elvis looks so dashing and incredibly hot in his three-pieces? God, he looks so sharp in these outfits; loving the styling at least. Didn’t see Sun Yi in Migratory Birds, but she’s looking sweet and very pretty in her styling and outfits too. Her look really suits her. Glad they didn’t stuff her in the finger waves – elegant but not her style.

Elvis owns this period for sure. Agreed, agreed, and agreed! It looks crazy to me…. sigh…. Why? WHY?!!

And you know me, straight bangs ain’t my thing but Sun Yi looks quite pleasant with them. 😀

The drama title 人生若只如初见 sounds really nice & poetic. Love the outfits! Not sure if I wanna watch it though…seems a bit too angsty.

Take one for the team Tokkita! 8) Looks like no one else will watch this. Lol.

Elvis Han should retain her birth name. Han Dong Jun sounds more familiar than elvis and it’s Korean sounds alike which is good. As for the drama: I don’t think I’ll watch this one

I can see a theme happening here….lots of gun pointing at self thingy while crying!!! I normally steer clear of such drama! LOL

Yep, that seems to be the trend in all republican dramas! Zhao Li Ying and Li Yi Feng do the same thing in theirs. LOL.

Ugh, i hate this time period of dramas – always full of war, guns, violence, etc.

But i love Elvis Han! And him acting as this macho, obsessed lover makes my ovaries sing lol.

I’ve decided that i have to watch this just for Elvis Han alone. Goddangit, why is he so handsome?!

Good for you!! YAY!! Someone to suffer for his handsome face. keke. =D

      ovaries sing” LOL!

Well I’m going to be watching! It reminds me of those classy old Cdramas that were well acted and well produced that I used to watch with my parents. Nice cast, nice costumes with splashes of melodrama bookending moments of bliss between the OTP.

And I the aggressiveness of the male doesn’t really bother me as much because I think that was the whole reason why people liked Hana Yori Dango – she changed him or whatever BS. So I think Elvis Han is charismatic enough not to play it too creepy (Matsumoto Jun is crazy talented in my book for pulling that off). And I echo the sentiment that he is super hot as a macho obsessed lover.

Alllll the guys are hot too. I’ll be watching for Elvis but I don’t mind Jeremy Tsui’s face taking up time. the other guys are easy on the eyes too. Where are cdramas finding all these handsome men?! They are giving them out like candy now.

YES! Thanks for signing up Jen! You know we will be all ears when things turn crazy. Lol.

I like Meteor Garden mostly because Barbie played Shan Cai very well and she had cute chemistry with all of them. Chicken hair being all puppy-like and mushy = ADORABLE!

Yasss the redemptive badboy…so hawt. These romantic tropes never fail to entertain me and pull me into the story. It’s pretty much what 90% of Kdrama looks like lol, but yet I still consume *le sigh*.

I actually haven’t watched Kdramas for a while now, because I haven’t really found a couple good looking enough to keep my attention using the same old setups.

But…Elvis. Oooh Elvis is my weak spot. And he’s in this drama with THIS kind of personality! Be still, my heart.

      Must! Watch!

I am going to give this a try since I have a stellar track record of being attracted to male leads like Elvis’s character. Lol.
