Another joint US-China production to enter Cannes Film Festival is The Last Race, staring English actor Joseph Fiennes and Chinese actor, Shawn Dou. The former is set to play famous Scottish athlete – Eric Liddell as he spends the latter parts of his life in China as a missionary and eventually died in a Japanese internment camp. Shawn is set up to play his friend and fellow prisoner in a moving and inspiring journey to the finish line.
