Two birds with one stone baby! The production team has announced on weibo that there will indeed be a Season 2 of popular series My Amazing Boyfriend (我的奇妙男友). However, there is no news of whether they will keep the main OTP/same actors. It would be crazy not to invite Janice Wu back. That is unthinkable. I still haven’t continued after my episode 1 recap so can’t say much about Kim Tae Hwan. But let’s hope that both will be returning. 😀

They said that they will not gonna change the actors. And when you read the book 2 of the novel MABF, TJZ is pregnant so it’s likely that they will not change the actors 🙂 🙂 🙂

I watched ep 1 and don’t really like it. Too immature for my liking. Maybe I will pick up a few more episodes soon. The male lead acting is awkward. I wonder if the popularity of this drama is due to the premise similar to MLFTS.
whitediamond, yes. this drama is similar to MLFTS but it’s storyline is different from MLFTS. And i dont think that thepopularity of this drama is due to MLFTS. If you don’t like this drama, you better not watch it. 🙂
I think the hardest part for a lot of people is getting past the lead male’s weird hardness. He’s like stone at first but really stick with it because she changes that in him… and they DO explain why he’s that way. Think about it though if you lived that long watching people you loved and cared about die over and over you’d shut down… plus waking up 100 years later knowing it had to be someone you trusted to know your secret that did that to you in the first place?
Others said that this drama is from a famous novel. hmm.. what’s the title of the novel? I want to search it on google. 챰ㅇ!

Janice Wu definitely need to come back for Season 2 but we can do without Kim Tae Hwan. Let’s get a real actor on board instead of blindly following the trend of the moment to cast a person to act simply because he’s Korean. There are many local Chinese or even Taiwanese actors who can act the part of the cold immortal man better than KTH and are actually good looking. Sorry, I’m just being honest here. The drama was saved because of Janice but the biggest drawback of the cast coincidentally is the main male lead, KTH.
this drama was not just saved by janice… it was made popular too because of KTH 🙂 who wouldn’t be awkward acting using korean while the other casts, mandarin. AND it was his first drama… maybe we could safely say that hopefully on the season 2 he would improve 🙂 BUT I LOVE HIM ALREADY!!

It’s sad to think that many people don’t like Kim Tae Hwan’s acting. Actually his role in MAB suits his personality. He’s always have that poker face! -_- And, he’s handsome and tall! 🙂 😉

I saw clips from an interview with the main male actor and it seems like the cast will be returning…and he kind of spilt the beans about there being a son.
I want the whole cast to stay! The ending was shocking i loved it… I want season 2 right now ????
