Lee Gun (Li Jian) cast as Xu Si Bai in Memory Lost

And the casting is complete! For the list of other handsome boys killers in the series, visit this post. If you must know his letter. He’s S, leader of the network of killers in the series. Also the second male lead in love with our detective heroine. Well, if that doesn’t complicate things, I don’t know what does.

Korean actor Lee Gun (Chinese name is Li Jian). He’s a newbie and Yu Zheng assures us that he’ll be speaking Mandarin. I don’t recognize this kid, does anyone?

Reposting the posters for our detective OTP. Yang Rong looks amazing. The netizens are pitying Johnny Bai Yu because the serial killers are a bunch of flower boys. LOL. I think he looks quite dashing in all black below.

Another young one! All these kids must have a bad childhood for them to be serial killers at such young age. LOL!

I think Johnny looks fine. He’s on the manly side so that’s good. Yang Rong. SO GOOD FOR HER!!

With Qi Ji in the drama, all the other actors will look like boys =P

He is so underrated, when will he get the lead role? He was awesome in the ancient drama with Zhao Li Ying. He needs to star in his own dramas.

Totally agree. How he is not leading role material?

Wow, Yuzheng. A newbie and a Korean actor. How daring. Let’s hope this newbie’s Mandarin will be perfect or else you’ll be ripped apart (again) on weibo for the casting choice.

In all seriousness, where art thou, young and rising Chinese actors?

Young and rising Chinese actors are his underlings/killers. Lol. Yumama just wanted to join the Korean craze running high at the moment. XD

A newbie and a Korean actor at that for one of the most important characters in the novel? *Claps* Yu Zheng your bravery is admirable. The drama would be a gone case for me if the actor can’t speak proper Mandarin or even act well enough. Will see.

*SCREAMS* THAT IS WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT! A SIMPLE POSTER! Bai Yu and Yang Rong looks darn amazing in that sweet poster *cries* Their chemistry is oozing!!! I would have like it if the male lead is taller because that was what I imagined Han Chen to be but oh well, Bai Yu looks good too!

Not sure whether this is happy news or not to Juli since I know she likes Sun Xiao Xiao. Added to Yumama’s Memory Lost. This drama is gonna be so pretty. Lol.

Love it! Undoubtably Sun Xiao Xiao going to be at best a second lead. When is she going to get her own lead drama?! I know she was pseudo main character in the Young Sherlock one (and she makes an awesome OTP with Ma Tian Yu) and was “lead” (with such a crappy character arc) in that under-the-radar drama (Bao Bei Ma Ma Bai Bei Nu er…I think. Something like that, with Ma Tian Yu too but not as a couple). But whenever she’s in any of the more promoted “bigger” productions, she can never do better than secondary character, not even second lead.

I mean, yeah, her acting’s not spectacular or anything, but I think she’s a sight more versatile and flexible than Tang Yan and Zheng Shuang, and they’re all the rage. Honestly Liu Shi Shi, while I like her and think she has her moments of wow-great-acting, she’s generally pretty unchanging and unvaried too. Sun Xiao Xiao’s really not worse, and she’s pretty, and she’s been in a decent amount of productions with enough experience, so why doesn’t she ever get to lead her own drama?

Whatever. Just glad Yang Rong at least is getting to be lead at last. She definitely deserves it. All those years of playing a better villain than the main lead does the main character.
