    For people who are familiar with the plot, is there a love triangle or is there one main OTP? I want to give this drama a shot but I actively avoid any asian dramas with a prominent love triangle lol

    Finally this came out, now I can stop watching Chronicle Of Love.

    Based on ep1 – ep5

    Story: ✪✪✪ the story setup reminds me a little of The Legend of Lu Zheng but hopefully the story doesn’t unfold the same way.

    Chemistry: ✪✪✪✪ I think Shi Shi has great chemistry with Wallace, I’ve see it before from their other dramas. She also has pretty great chemistry with Huang Xuan, I already ship them.

    Acting: ✪✪✪✪ I’ve never seen Huang Xuan in a drama before, I have only seen him on the Hunan show Wonderful Friends. His character so far seem pretty much like him in really life, sweet and caring of others, his true test will be when he becomes king later on and turn to the dark side. but as of now I am sold on his performance. Hasn’t seen much of Wallace yet but his character is kind of off putting at the moment.

    Directing:✪✪✪✪ I like the color of the show, not overly bright, good balance of colors and neutrals. Pacing is good, I want to keep watching one after the other.

    Entertainment Value: ✪✪✪✪ i wish I waited a bit before starting this drama now I am stuck waiting for the next episode 🙁

    I don’t know why c drama keeps having sad endings for the OTP in dramas recently, why can’t they just let them live happily ever after. Base on the preview for this drama doesn’t look any of them will end happily either.

    Watched all episodes. Skipped quite a lot. Limited character depth. Sort of exciting anyway.

    But dude, I’m just happy that someone made the effort to put these things up, so that I might have an opinion regarding these series at all.
