    The song is AMAZING! But…I’m so confused. This is so much more angsty than the animated series…Plus…Gina’s OTP?! Is Crimson Snake gonna end up with Xiang Yu?! What?! But Crimson Snake and Wei Zhuang (? I forgot his name…it’s been a while. The white haired dude) have such a touching past story!

    This mv makes this series seem so so so sad and depressing…but the song is awesome. Still really looking forward to this!

      I was rewatching the mv, and I just realized, Crimson Snake walked away from Wei Zhuang while he was in a wheel chair! Why is he in a wheel chair?! Why would CS walk away from him when he’s in that state? I don’t understand this pairing. Actor/actress wise, I can see this pairing happening, but story-wise…that’s just soo…perverted. Like not romantically, but this pairing is like a perversion of the plot and each character’s backstory! The story behind CS and WZ is so touching. I forgot the details, but WZ met CS when she was still *spoiler* the princess, before her life was ruined. She met him before his duel with Ge Nie, when he was still a teen, still young and sort of heroic and carefree! They have so much history! Even if they so far aren’t romantically together, they have so many emotions between them! Despite them being villains, I really like Crimson Snake and Wei Zhuang.

      Looks like they changed quite a few things and speed up some plots from the animation. I guess it’s expected for a drama adaptation, we can’t have our teeny OTP separated for more than 3 episodes. Lol. I’m interested to find out more about Crimson Snake and WZ. I don’t remember much of their story in the animation.

      Where Chou has such a nice voice. I’m in love~

          Thanks Juli. I have to be cautious. Maybe I’ll just watch the drama and let myself escape from any possible letdowns. XD

    Hopefully Jiang Jin Fu’s scenes aren’t cut/ reduced from the drama because of the news about him leaving Tangren 🙁

      OMG they better not!!!! I’m not a huge JJF fan, but I love his character Tian Ming. The whole show is supposed to be about him (mostly…I mean it’s about more than just him but he’s like THE main character). Plus JJF fits pretty well as Tian Ming. If they cut his scene, I will forever discriminate against Tangren. I’ve been waiting for this drama adaptation, and if they ruin this. Man, Tangren, meet my fist with your face.

        Exactly! It’d be very petty of them to cut his scenes which would ruin the flow of the drama since he’s such an integral character!!

    I’m rewatching Qin’s Moon to vamp up for the drama, and I’m at Chi Lian/Wei Zhuang’s episode in Season 4. I hope the drama touches on them. The series doesn’t tell us yet, but I really want to know what happened to Wei Zhuang to make his hair turn white and stuff. As a kid with Chi Lian, he was still aloof, but he was slightly more thoughtful and kind of cute with the then sweet and innocent Chi Lian. He gave gifts and stuff and was more emotional of a person. Then he went to duel Ge Nie in their “death battle” (except we know that never happened), 3 years later, he’s back and his hair’s white, he’s cold and detached. I really want to know what happened. And if he actually does like Chi Lian.
