Does anyone else feel that William Chan is one of those actors who knows how to turn on and off his sensuality at will? He recently did the hair shampoo commercial with Zhang Hui Wen and totally made out with her hair. Lol. For the September issue of Bazaar, he’s embracing yet another youngin and this time it’s Dilraba Dilmurat (Diamond Lover). I think most of the chemistry is from his side though. Ha.

Many praised Dilraba in Diamond Lover, so she should have acting chops. I’m dreaming of having these two paired in an ancient drama. Have silk road as the setting, so we can take advantage of Dilraba’s strong Uyghur features. Let’s make her the daughter of a merchant from Samarkand, who is traveling to the Great Plains and meets William there, and then the two fall in love, etc. Someone, please make a complete story!

LOL, thanks for the encouragement, Kap! For the start, she will be smart, educated and confident like Huang Rong; gentle, quick-witted, and open-minded like A Zhu (to be exact, Jia QIng’s version of A Zhu). As the only child of a traveling merchant, she’s exposed to different cultures, and she speaks at least two languages (of course Mandarin is one of them).
He will come from a noble family, also educated and smart, his father’s confidante. But I will make her smarter than him :D. He has wicked sense of humor, quite snob, and is a ladies man (no more cold outside, warm inside men!). He’s attracted by her beauty first, but will be enamored by her intelligence. She’s attracted to him as well, but knowing his way with girls, she doesn’t let him have it easy.
There should be tension, some misunderstandings, angst, but nothing overboard. He’ll have a female cousin, who will become her BFF, and his own male BFF. The male BFF will have a crush on her, but will end up with the female cousin. So everybody will be happy and form their own coupling. There you go! 😀
