The story follows the growth of our heroine as she goes from a spoiled, reckless, rich girl to a patriotic young woman, acting as a spy to chase out the traitors working for the enemy during the period of Anti-Japanese sentiments. Lu Yi portrays an experienced officer, guiding and providing support along the way as she navigates through treacherous grounds. Good thing this is not Shifu Ver. 2.0. *BREATHE*

They are still filming, no broadcast date yet but I think it won’t take long. The clothes are designed from the 30s but made with modern fabrics and hands, so we’re good! XD

Not liking the cosplay wig on our dear girl but I do love her wardrobe, particularly the hats.
So glad she’s starring with Lu Yi. I think working with seasoned veterans will really help with her acting.

Yes! Her wardrobe is gorgeous and I love how Li Ying can pull off those hats. I am also very interested in seeing her dynamics with a veteran as well. Maybe the combination of this role and acting alongside an experienced actor will elevate Li Ying’s acting to something away from her usual image.

i love her style here.. i wish she will dress up like this more, she look so pretty… i hope this drama will airing soon, cause her drama Journey of flower will end next month, and lucky thian bao still not confirm when will airing.. i want to see her drama.. so i wish this drama not take too long to airing..

Oh my goodness! She looks so pretty here, and so fresh! I hope they stick with this makeup style for the drama. I really think that she’s been given questionably shaped eyebrows in the past, so this looks so much better.
