——> ♦ Dylan Kuo‘s movie, Where’s The Time, totally went under my radar! It came out two days ago in theaters. He’s romancing Andy Yang (Battle of Chang Sha). The mv looks sad as heck…. T___T

——> ♦ Chen Qian En‘s new modern drama might just be penned by Tong Hua. Tentatively titled, Abandon You, Hold Onto You. I don’t know… I’m not big of a fan of her female leads.
——> ♦ Zhao Li Ying‘s rumored project, 11 Chu Te Gong Huang Fei, is reportedly in negotiation with Luo Jin and Bosco Wong for the male leads roles! GAHHH. Polaris should be dancing at the club hearing this. Lol. It’s a good thing she’s reading the novel! But I’m not sure how these three look together. Wow Fan Bing Bing and Yumama may actually a match made in heaven. Neither one is big with historical detail (or any detail at all) and both just wants a good looking film with lots of word of mouth free advert.
I forsee a very well followed and reported Eastern Palace coming up!
Btw…I think I’m getting confused with which story Eastern Palace in (being non Chinese and all), is it the same story as Ron Ng, Myolie and Michelle Ye did in TVB ages ago? The one where Michelle was a rich girl and ending up marrying Kenneth Ma’s character?

Tyn, do you mean Lost In the Chamber of Love? The story of Eastern Palace revolves around a spoiled princess arranged to marry a crown prince of another country. She’s righteous and adventurous. There are similar elements but if TVB did remake it, they didn’t give credit… Well, we know that part. LOL.

I put the 11 Chu Te Gong Huang Fei novel on hold for now, though I did finish at least 12 chapters so far. It’s not really my cup of tea as the characters are quite brutal. If they are going to adapt this into a drama, they will have to change a lot of things around and/or cut out all of the gory scenes.
But wow, Luo Jin, Bosco and ZLY. I wouldn’t mind seeing the last two together but Luo Jin seems out of place. LOL.
Not sure how I feel about there being a drama adaptation of Eastern Palace. It’s quite a short novel and most suitable for movie adaptation, so I’ll be looking forward to that once they confirm the cast.
Can’t wait to follow the news of Just One Smile is Very Alluring. Zheng Shuang is not my top choice for Weiwei but I can’t say that she doesn’t fit the image. Excited to see how things will turn out between her and Yang Yang in terms of chemistry.

Gory and brutal? I don’t mind a little brutality. This is war! Kidding aside, they would probably change/lessen those scenes to match with their ridiculous guidelines. Luo Jin should play her older brother in some series. They would look cute. XD
It’s a good thing they picked Yang Yang, someone who is already accustomed with Zheng Shuang. Fans were shipping them together during that variety show too!

They may have to change the protagonist’s personality if they are going to work around the guidelines. She is not a likable character so far with her being a part of the brutality. :S
I think some fans also shipped her with Jing Boran. Both “couples” are cute. 🙂

Yun Zhong Ge is like heaven for me – all the people I have grown to like! Not sure about the story since I didn’t read the book and it looks messy from the stills with everyone hugging everyone. We have a lot of players at hand.
Bosco and Li Ying might look cute together but I’m iffy about Luo Jin. Gotta be optimistic or I might end up with another JOF in my hands!

The drama adaptation will probably mess everything up, given that it’s by Yumama. The book was beautiful, I think, because of how tragic it was (I’m a sadist, apparently…). I’ve only read the english translations, but there were a few chapters in between that didn’t get translated… 🙁
The trailers seem to imply that the main characters are different in the book than in the drama adaptation. I’m actually just really not excited about Du Chun as Meng Jue. His character is supposed to be extremely handsome…Also not sensing a lot of chemistry between what was the original triangle: Lu Yi – Angelababy – Du Chun.

I’m not familiar with those Chinese novels, but thrilled by the possibility of Yang Yang – Zhao Li Ying pairing in Eastern Promise. Make it happen, please! I quite like the title as well, as it’s also the name of a jazz club in my city :D.
I don’t really like the premise of Yun Zhong Ge, but who can resist Chen Xiao? Will definitely check it if only for him.

The storyline is pretty generic for a movie with the setting set during the time of SARS. They were separated as kids and meet again as adults. But Dylan’s character wants to fulfill his dad’s wishes and thus marries another woman. This is the gist of it.
I like her too and will start to cover more of her works. 🙂

Honestly, I didn’t finish watching My Sunshine and the storyline is not my cup of tea…. Lol. So I didn’t pay much attention to the movie even if it looks really pretty. XD
