Promo clip for Wallace Huo’s When He Comes, Close Your Eyes

Tskk tskk, the English editing team should be ashamed of themselves. What the heck is Close Your Eyes and Close to Me? *facepalm* To refresh your mind, When He Comes, Close Your Eyes is based on the novel of the same name written by Ding Mo. It’s a detective thriller and fans have praised the novel for being raw and gory, unlike other online stories. There’s also a dash of sweet and straightforward romance to lure in the romantic hearts. Wallace Huo is the male lead and his leading lady, Sandra Ma (The Left Ear), is a fairly new face.

Stills:

Characters posters.

Wallace Huo and Sandra Ma. He is the high IQ but low EQ criminal profiler, while she’s an English major with a pair of keen eyes, and is hired to translate forensic cases and details.

Edward Zhang plays one of the villains if I read his bio correctly. And Nick Wang is the heroine’s best friend, who’s also a cop and has a crush on her since fuuurever. Ha.

Zheng Yin aka Andrew Tam is the hero’s only friend who sees through his loneliness. Zhang Ling Zhi plays the hero’s selfish sister.

Press Conference held yesterday. The short promo clip is intended for sponsors and investors. Not for us. XD

Promo Video:

  • It’s so much more natural to hear their speaking voices.
  • Love the quiet and calm tone in the trailer. Their romantic dinner date looks awkward as heck. Lol.
  • I’m liking the creepy music in the last minute! This looks right up my alley!
  • When He Comes, Close Your Eyes is still filming and plans to premiere this October.

It’s nice to see Wallace Huo in modern setting.
I hope this drama adaption won’t disappoint me. It’s refreshing to see new faces like Sandra Ma. I find it weird that they held press conference way before premiere date and on top of that they haven’t even finished filming yet.

Lol. The whole cast have only been filming for roughly ~20 days. They are always holding these introductory press conferences to get sponsors/investors.

I like Sandra Ma, she is my favorite from the current batch of new faces!

You are right, sponsors! I don’t usually see pics from introductory press con in blogs so I am totally unaware of that fact, but it makes sense that they need investors for the dramas.

I still can’t forget how blatant Rio PPL in My Sunshine XD

          hahah Those drinks are everywhere!

I usually don’t write up introductory press conferences but since this one is rarely written about, I did. Plus, there’s a sneak preview of what is to come!

For now, they say it’s short, only 19 episodes. I hope it’s short and sweet!

Still unconvinced about Wallace playing Bo Jin Yan, but I guess I will have to live with it for now. I’m just relieved that this isn’t a Yu Zheng production. :p

    Sandra Ma is so pretty!
