- A refresher on the plot: Joe plays a rich girl who has fallen on hard times and travels to Shanghai in search of her half sister (Lu Jia Rong). But her half sister remembers how she and her mother was abandoned by Joe’s family and refuses to help. Kimi plays younger brother to Lu Jia Rong’s businessman boyfriend (Xie Jun Hao). Tattered and wretched, Joe is saved from the streets by Huang Xiao Ming, the Mobster Prince of Shanghai. He grooms her about the world, about dance, about arts, but she has a crush on Kimi. HAHAHA.
- Directing is Lin He Long (Miss Shanghai Sweetheart, Devil Beside You), and writing is Yuan Shuai (Heros in Sui and Tang Dynasties, The Hero of Swallow), the story is based on a popular novel, The Fate of Jin Xiu.

This is just soooo cruel! But why do we allow them to treat us so cruelly? That’s because we are all fools in love! We are in love with this drama (or the idea of it) even before it starts and this gives them the license to be cruel towards us. Likewise, Cruel Romance! 😉

it doesn’t really. in lady and the liar, there is identity theft between the two girls. here, joe is just lucky she caught the eye of the mobster prince and the happy kimi.

30+ episodes are definitely enough! LOLs. and from what i heard, there would be 2 movies. They gotta be kidding me. i love silent separation but there are still many good novels. I hope those movies won’t ruin my ‘novel’ imagination. I like My Sunshine drama, but.. Gu Mam definitely ruined some characters there. such a pity!

I actually waited back in September for this drama to come out but it never did, which was a disappointment. Glad that it’s finally having an aired date.
I hope the little bird is reliable, because I don’t think I can be patient any longer. 😛
Now that I know Kimi has/had a crush a Joe, I’m curious to see them interact on screen more than her chemistry with HXM. 😛 (though of course their chemistry will probably dictate how compelling the drama will be to watch in the end) Hoping Joe’s amazing chemistry will continue to rock this drama~ :] … the dance scenes are still so hard to watch xD How come everyone can look good doing wushu moves, but can’t look good dancing ~_~

If she lie…. We could go bird hunting! Lol. But no matter what, it will air around March (in our case a few days earlier) because they want to spread out Joe’s dramas, unlike the people saturating every broadcast station with Tang Yan. Bad tactic!

Dancing scenes are hard to act out because they film so fast, actors don’t have time to rehearse at all. And it’s always the same – one, two, OUCH, one, two, bonk! XD

That’s true, they probably take longer with wuxia dramas with all the crazy equipment they have to use. I’ll just cringe my way through the dance scenes and hopefully they’ll zoom in on their profiles during them so I won’t suffer too much xD
