I can’t believe I’m saying this but our stunning goddess might just steal the thunder right under Rain’s abs (well, some might find this debatable…) For Love or Money is based on a novel by Zhang Xiao Han, which tells the moving story between a fallen noble lady and a rich heir to a large company. She’s broken and has lost the direction in life, whereas he chooses a life of poverty and freedom to pursue his passion as a painter. Together, will they be able to find themselves in this world of twists and turns before it’s too late?
This movie might just the ticket for me to invest in Liu Yi Fei as an actress. *crosses fingers*

I think this role will be able to showcase Crystal Liu in a whole new light. It just seems a lot more dynamic then the roles that she usually takes on. Coupled up with Rain and I think I can see sparks flying, but it is still too early to tell. Both actors have never really seemed like the most versatile actors, with Rain maybe being slightly better, but with this film, I can see the possibility of them actually breaking out of their shells and maybe doing a really great job. It seems like the type of film that could cement them as good and solid actors. I like both of them well enough and I have high hopes for the both of them, as well as the film.

Definitely. Yi Fei chose well this time, as it seems like she’s the main character and Rain is just icing on the cake (heh). It’s hard to find a show where both leads have equal amount of character development and growth. Visually, they look great together, let’s hope this project will re-define them as actors. 🙂

Although I like rain as singer, never liked their acting. Both of them are so amature.
I am not sure I will watching this film or not. Lets wait positive review after premire.
