Hmmm. Not sure what Yu Zheng is pulling here. The fact that he had to announce about giving Yang Rong a lead role kinda diminishes her talents. The stills are gorgeous but then I heard her dubbed voice in the trailer…and I want to yank Yumama’s collar. If you’re gonna give her the lead role, do it right. Get a female adult to speak her lines!

Old and new stills that I haven’t posted. Yang Rong is delightfully graceful in the first few stills. I enjoyed Yang Rong when she portrayed the villain in Female Prime Minister, but when she’ required to do cute, that’s when her overcompensation shows. She doesn’t have that natural flair to do cute roles and hence tends to exaggerate her expressions. I hope she does better in here than in the Swordsman.

she is pretty! i agreed, i couldn’t stand her ling shan in the swordsman. she tried too hard and it came off forced. she’s great as a villain.
the story here is quite lame. sorry, but i might not check this out.
