Hmm, has anyone watched part 1 with Andy Lau? I’m not a movie person so I’ll leave it up to you guys to spread the word of mouth once you see this production in theaters on September 28th! Since the film is shot in stereoscopic 3D by Huayi Brothers Media, the quality must be amazing. If writing fails, you know you can shut off your brains and enjoy the technology and pretty people onscreen. Well, one might encounter the issue of “Where to look?” Korean actor, Kim Bum, will make his Chinese film debut as the scholar who romances the beautiful courtesan, played by Angelababy. Portraying the lead role is Mark Zhao, replacing Andy’s character as the young Detective Dee. Loosely, the premise revolves around the dangerous sea monster that has caused chaos in the Imperial Capital.
It’s directed by Tsui Hark, who has done The Flying Swords of Dragon Gate (2011) among many others.

I don’t know about you guys but this must be the BEST photo of Angelababy I’ve ever seen. She’s known for undergoing many PS, to the point of resembling a mannequin onscreen and looking creepily doll-like. Somehow, she manages to look sweet and approachable below. I was screaming, “She can smile!”

Kappy, the guys are too smart to get themselves involved in Angelababy’s heat. She’s controversy everywhere she goes. I’m sorry but that dress is tasteless for press con. I like the skirt but don’t like the top. She should wear something less revealing so the press can take her more serious as an actress, if that’s what she’s aiming for. Or maybe not, looks like that first still of her showing off her cleavage already sets the bar. Mark and FSF are happily in relationships so I get it why they respect their women to avoid scandals. Is LGX in a relationship too? Anyways, the men are doing things right up there.
The CG looks awesome. This might be the first 3D movie from a Chinese production I do look forward to watch.

I saw your Kim hubby’s Secretly, Greatly movie over the wkend and I was gonna give up on it halfway ’cause the story wasn’t going anywhere then I restored my patience to complete the movie. Nice ending, not the greatest but the moral of the story did cross through, finally. I forgot KSH is a lefty, now I remember, I believe I first discovered his uniqueness in WISFC.

i saw Kim bum name in the paragraph and immediately scanned the page! my gosh. this girl will be romancing my BOO??? nooo she has big assets and stuff. ARGGGGGG i sense a little hostility from keane. what scandals were she in except having plastic surgeries non-stop? i saw some photos and thank god she fixed her fixed long chin. it was horribel after the first time.
i thought the top was fine. as long as she doesn’t show the split in the middle of her asset. but her photo in the drama is a different story. but then again she plays a courtesan. these women aren’t decent to begin with.
i have never seen her look this normal before. lol. how can she smile with all the work DONE?
Secretly, Greatly was……..hmmm….. weird! started off well…then it got too long…and then end was like…two different movies in one?!

I think they’re cordial with her. She’s dating the pretty man, Huang Xiao Ming, so naturally the other guys wouldn’t make a move. They were recently caught visiting his parents and some speculate wedding bells might be ringing soon.
She could also change her stage name. Angelababy doesn’t strike a cord with serious and professional.
That dress isn’t so bad as her outfits in the drama. Maybe because I have seen worst from her and this was decent.
I’ve heard of Secretly, Greatly not doing well in storytelling and now I’m wary. I don’t want to watch if it’s that bad! WAHH!!
