“It’s water games till the end!” – Gary on Running Man Episode 120

Photobucket

I loved last week’s episode. Sooner or later, sport games with magical powers are going to become a tradition on Running Man. I like Go Choo‘s competitiveness and sneaky Teddy Bear (Ryu Hyun Jin)’s giggles. Jin Se Yeon from Five Fingers was also there…but might I ask, why do we need another guest when the focus is placed purely on the athletes? I’ll never get bored of the guests’ WTH faces when their supposed advantages and skills are rendered into hilarious antics for the show. Monster pitcher was OUT-ed by HaHa. Weee~~

If last week’s eppy scored a 10 on creativity, then this week got the humor and entertainment right on the game. It’s another X-Man reunion (it’s been 6 years? Holy cow…) with Lee Seung Gi standing and laughing like his bumbling old self next to Yoo Jae Suk. Park Shin Hye was also invited and she was better than Se Yeon. That’s all. Now onto the picspam!

Photobucket

How adorable is Seung Gi in the beginning? Shocked that the members are coming to capture him instead of greeting him. Boy, don’t you watch RM enough to know? It’s RIPPPPPPP, RIPPPP, then Hello! Nice to meet you! See you in jail! 😉

DBSK’s Catch Me playing in the background. It’s the perfect song for Running Man.

The teams: I actually felt slightly upset about the teams. I wish the PD could mix them up so that new dynamics can be formed. I want Ji Hyo to be paired with the guest too. Lately, she’s constantly paired up with Gary (not complaining but…still) and Suk Jin. With that being said, I was rooting for their team all the way in today’s episode. Suk Jin wasn’t the first to be eliminated – see how happy he looks!? Unlike last week. Pshhh! 😀

The team with 0 points. T____T

Photobucket

Jae Suk’s in constant talk with Seung Gi about X-man. This doesn’t bode well with Giraffe, who’s standing on the side trying his best to smile his way through.

Photobucket

Jae Suk: “XMAN THIS….XMAN THAT…HAHAHA!”

Gwang Soo: Can you stop talking about XMAN?!! Talk about Running Man!”

Photobucket

Slipping his tongue, Jae Suk refers to Gwang Soo as Seung Gi. Puppy barks immediately, “Your thoughts are all about Seung Gi eh, hyung??!!”

And if you don’t already know, James Bond became the capable agent that he’s today is all thanks to practicing his gun-shooting at a car wash center.

Before we dive into this segment, here’s my 2% humanity: Cold water and cold air in the early morning? Mean and harsh PD-nim! My other 98% sadistic self was enjoying all this… what has this show made me into?

Red Team’s 1st Attempt: hahaha, Gwang Soo can’t locate his gun.

Photobucket

Results of 2nd Attempt & 3rd Attempt:

Photobucket

Exhausted.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Yellow Team’s 1st Attempt: Haha goes head on with the water.

Photobucket

While Spartakook hides behind the window shield like a little girl. Pshhhhhh! It’s official peeps, Jong Kook + Water = Nemesis.

Photobucket

Blue Team’s 1st Attempt:

Our Impala decides to confront the hose in a moment of bravery…..BA! BAH! BAH!!

Photobucket

While the Monday Couple screams in the car for no reason at all. xD

Photobucket

Monday Couple: “AHHH!! AHHHHH!! AHHHHHH!!”

Impala’s failed logic. After he’s soaked, he rolls up the window…. omgawd! My stomach!!!

Photobucket

Red Team’s 4th Attempt. MC Yoo figures it’s time to let his brother Yoo Hyuk appears:

Photobucket

Does it really help? Nope.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Gwang Soo tries to be a spy in the back but…

Photobucket

Seung Gi focusing on his cans and knocks them over.

Photobucket

The other side…not so much improvement.

Photobucket

MC Yoo: “At this point, I’m going to drink all the water!”

Photobucket

Yellow Team’s 2nd Attempt:

Photobucket

Haha once again taking all his head gears off….

Photobucket

No longer the little girl who’s afraid of all things water-related, Spartakooks pokes his head out.

Photobucket

Team’s effort to shoot the last stubborn can…SUCCESS!

Next Game: Water Cannon Flying Chair. 😎

Yellow Team is up first and I just couldn’t stop laughing at everyone’s reaction to the power of the chair. Sadistic Self thinking: “It would be more fun if the chair throw them higher….” 😛

Photobucket

The too happy spectators laughing their heads off…. 😀

Photobucket

Blue Team thinks they’re safe because Suk Jin is an MC but turns out they want Gary to go first.

Photobucket

Ji Hyo’s jaw drops.

Red Team is up next and of course they fail…Gwang Soo looks scared.

Photobucket

Seung Gi smiles because he knows what’s coming.

Photobucket

But he’s now a big star, must keep self composed:

Photobucket

Our Ace thinks it’s cute to do peace sign while they’re flung off the chair.

Photobucket

In reality, their limbs wave around uncontrollably, “Screw peace sign!” Impala’s face:

Photobucket

Kim Jong Kook: “Oh!! Ji Suk Jin has NO HAIR in the middle!!”
Ji Suk Jin: “I left it at home today!”

Me: “HAHAHHAHAHAHA!!” 😛

Third Game: Passing the body through a hanger, tennis racket, or landing net.

Photobucket

Gary: “My pants are falling off!”
Ji Hyo: “Kang Gary, you’re wearing yellow underwear! I saw it!”
Gary: “You saw it? It’s the color you like, isn’t it?”
Ji Hyo: *speechless, hands on hair* 😈

Photobucket

Aww, the only Monday Couple moment. So cute. I swear this man can change any topic into mushy, cheesy lines.

Gwang Soo’s face, struggling to get through the wire hanger…

Photobucket

His face when his teammates are feeling him up.

Photobucket

Gwang Soo: “Hyung, don’t you think the three of us are a little too close?” Your face says otherwise, Giraffe.

Photobucket

I was glad Blue Team won this round. They’ve been losing steadily in all games.

Photobucket

Funny how our tricky Running Man family always loses when they decide to play fair with the guests. Last week, Kim Jong Kook lost to Sneaky Teddy Bear after suggesting a fair fight. This week, Suk Jin loses to the shameless Seung Gi, who is armed in both hands!

My advice: “Don’t play fair just because you’re good!”

Photobucket

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Stay safe and eat well. 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving Kap. Turkey and gravy in large servings, then sleep. I thought it was funny how Seung Gi couldn’t “say” running man was good, even though he saw it and thought it.
I guess Seung Gi went with Kang Ho Dong (and some other X-men) to the rival program 1n2d while YJS was doing Family Outing. Seung Gi was also the MC duo with KHD for Strong Heart, which rivaled YJS’s timeslots for his other program (i think they used to mention it on older Happy Together episodes). So they were basically competing with each other for the last 4 or more years (and the lack of Seung Gi on YJS programs). Since Seung Gi left his positions and KHD is still on semi-hiatus, he is finally visiting programs like Running Man. I can’t wait for next week!

Right back at ya, Yichung! Have a great time with your beloved ones. 🙂

The rivalry in the entertainment business is quite serious (I’d never survive). Tsk tsk. That’s why I love X-Man for it’s now the only variety show where you can spot both big stars and Korea’s top MCs – Kang Ho Dong and Yoo Jae Suk. Lee Seung Gi, without a doubt, is under Kang’s wing. He was groomed into the people’s hearts during the years he spent under Kang’s care. It would be great to see Kang and Yoo together on a show, just having fun and all. I wish Park Myung Soo would guest on Running Man too. That would be cute. The shouting ajusshi!

Next week’s mission looks confusing already! 😕

A happy Thanksgiving to you, Kaptain! May your day be full of turkey and all the trimmings:) And may we all remember that we have so much to be thankful for:)

I really hope someone will sub this weeks infinity challenge (304). Wondering why I post something like this here? -cut to 1/4 the way into the episode, Ji suk jin and Kang Gary sitting at a table about to receive an invitation to an event. The theme is “my ugly friend festival” and the members of IC (which include Haha and YJS) have invited many celebrities (both male and female!). Just watching their reactions during the invitation part is already funny without even knowing what they are saying. The females keep asking “why?” (which is about all I understand.) All the usual (ugly) suspects make their appearance; Yoon jong shin, Kim jae dong, and even Go chang Suk! (Park Myung Soo is already a member of IC). So many celebrities trying to deny they are ugly!

Happy thanksgiving kap!!! Eat well too.

This episode looks hilarious!!! You mean to tell me impala lasted until the end. Then he broke his own record of being the game starter!!

I think the running man did it on purpose so the guests can win. They’re getting too good. Yoo jaesuk is old but haven’t you seen the way he runs!?? Lol.

I just finished watching this last night. LSG is still a “hudang” even in other shows. One thing I noticed was that Kim Jong Kook was very comfortable interacting with PSY, unlike with some other female guests where you can feel/see that there’s always a reservation… And seriously, how thin are these people to be able to fit themselves into the landing net..

I also loved PSY pretending to be miffed with LSG sneaky move….

,hmmm, apologies for the multiple posts… I can’t see the delete button.. 🙁

Thanks Rose! I had multiple meals yesterday, all had to do with Turkey in one way or the other. Hope you had a blast as well with your family!

Yichung, aww! That’s so mean! I can’t handle ugly jokes very well, whenever they make fun of Shin Bong Sun on HT, I get upset. Watch me laugh my head off because of my other 98% self.

oozzeee, no worries. I deleted the other 2 posts. 🙂 I did notice that KJK is very comfortable with PSH. It could be their age gap that makes him look upon her as a cute sister. They did work on a mv back in 2006.

Oh, I was rolling at my eyes at the netting segment. Seriously, the ladies don’t have curves at all (I didn’t expect any but still….they didn’t have to pick this game to make it obvious!)

Although you say that, I think I can entice you; in this weeks part 2 of “my ugly friend” special, Kim Jae Dong couldn’t stay on so he had his friend come replace him. Who came? someone who got some extreme protesting as a replacement- none other than SONG JOONG KI! (they even cut in the scene from Running Man where JoongKi had to make JaeDong say things). Why protesting? They Ranked the 18 celebrities in “ugly” order! I really hope some subbing group will pick these 2 episodes up.

Ha! Trying to use a pretty boy to lure me in Yichung? Nada. He’s cute, but like Lee Seung Gi, my affection doesn’t go beyond that. 😛

What if I add this screenshot: HERE

YJS, Haha, Go Chang Suk, Kim Bum Soo and Kim Young Chul picked their “best looking” facial features and combined them into 1 handsome devil.

          SOLD!

Why am I so easy like this?!
